We had a wonderful dinner on Saturday, polite and welcoming staff who gave excellent service. There were great choices on the menu and the food was superb. All washed down with a perfectly chilled bottle of bubbly. Can’t wait until next time.

First vist to the East End Arms. Staff,service and food were brilliant

Following our visit yesterday for Sunday lunch, we love visiting the East End Arms on our yearly visit to Brockenhurst following recommendation from Helen McGinn, staff always give a warm welcome, great food, never any rush to leave, looking forward to our next visit next year.

A fabulous stay here, again, we made sure we were there for Sunday lunch this time, absolutely delicious. Great service, warm, friendly but still professional.

Good service, nice atmosphere, small portions but the food was great! Will definitely be booking again.

Simply delicious roast beef lunch!!!!

The staff were super friendly but the food was poor. The Moules were very overcooked with too many broken shells. The roast beef was also over cooked. Shame as it is a nice place . The dining room was a bit cold.

Our overall stay was very good! The room was excellent and staff friendly. The location was perfect.

What a brilliant place, warm and friendly staff, stunning food, fabulous location. Little touches like water for the dog and treats to keep them happy went along way. Highly recommend

3rd visit in past 2 months and each time we have had great food. Excellent menu, beautifully cooked and generous portions. Good value for money. Staff all very friendly. Can't believe we hadn't been to this gem of a local pub before now. Great walks on the doorstep. Perfect! Can highly recommend.

Have visited here many times. Always a warm welcome from helpful staff. Food quality always good large potions and excellent prices compared to other venues. I would totally recommend going there but it might get so popular that I can’t get in.

Second visit first one in April was fantastic second visit on Friday 29th not so good, placed our order and 45 minutes later still waiting for food asked the staff and were then told the first member of staff who took our order had gone home and forgot to place our order with the kitchen! To be fair they did knock off our drinks and the food was good once it arrived.

We enjoyed a great meal on the last day of our holiday. The seating options were excellent and the food was fantastic. We were seated quickly and the food was served about 15 minutes after we ordered, all was to a high standard. A great atmosphere and all in all, I would definitely recommend Chequers to friends and family. Our Beagle had a good time too! Many Thanks to a great team.

I booked a lunch for my mother‘s 88th birthday. We were served by Liz, who was absolutely delightful, very warm and friendly. The food was plentiful and delicious, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. My mum liked it so much that she booked a table of six next week for her and her friends to have a lunch. Thank you and enjoy the rest of the summer.
