visted after refurb...having been to the pub on numerous occasions. Found this visit to be disapointing...far too long to wait over an hour for a main course only meal. The new layout found us cramped in a corner and wasnt reallly an ambiance of relaxation but one of noise. The food which was ordered came and the chips were far too big and where like rocks. Waitresses were very pleasant and apologetic but they didnt cook the food. Ended up with one meal discounted due to food. Probably will not go again. Feel the place is going in then wrong direction ...after bottoms on seats and losing that customer experience...

Delicious. This was our second visit and just as good as the first. Great food, staff, service, atmosphere. Already booked again and definitely new regulars.

Our first visit and won't be our last. We were welcomed from the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly and helpful and the food was plentiful and delicious thankyou for a lovely evening with family.

Anatolian is a firm favourite of mine. It has really good atmosphere and amazing staff. Will always come back for the lovely food served here

Visited after recent alterations.Our meal of fish and chips was nice but could have done with being hotter also served on cold plates.Also a number of items were not available not up to the same standard and quality of food as on previous visits.

Waited nearly 25 minutes to get our food menus, we had been given the wine menu by accident but the staff were too busy to notice. They apologised when they realised but seemed rushed off their feet. Ordered starters which came with our main course, they said it was a miscommunication with the kitchen. Food arrived 40 minutes after ordering. Heard the table next to us complaining about their wait time too and a waitress replied ‘it’s not my fault’. Food was tasty so hopefully just a few teething problems.

First time at this restaurant and found it inviting warm and charming. Food was excellent and served with a smile. We would highly recommend it.

Visited for breakfast yesterday with a friend and ordered sourdough toast with mushrooms. Plain soggy white toast arrived with no explanation given, and the mushrooms were tasteless. Sourdough toast was the main reason for ordering this dish as our favourite so it was disappointing. The waitress apologised at the point of paying the bill and reduced the bill. But the other waitress who brought out the food should have said something.

If you can find fault with this place there's something wrong with you.

I eat out a fair bit and in my humble opinion this is the best place in the whole Bolton area which includes Horwich and all surrounding areas for breakfast, the service and quality of food I find is just excellent. A great find.

Amazing food and service

I was there last night with friends and had a lovely meal as always, great service too the staff are always very friendly, will be back again soon.

The ’ Windy’ is now under new ownership and reopened on 27/2/25 having been totally refurbished with more building work continuing. 4 of us had a lovely Sunday lunch, it was freshly prepared and we waited about 40 minutes (not a problem) service was very good. The new menu is an improvement and and reasonably priced. We will certainly be returning soon.

Booked a fairly early evening time and athough not empty by any means, the restaurant was not overcrowded. There was a very relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, the food was excellent and the service even better. We were royally looked after by Kebil and others. We were also pleasantly surprised by the total amount of the bill which was very reasonable. We will definitely be visiting again.
