I was there last night with friends and had a lovely meal as always, great service too the staff are always very friendly, will be back again soon.

The ’ Windy’ is now under new ownership and reopened on 27/2/25 having been totally refurbished with more building work continuing. 4 of us had a lovely Sunday lunch, it was freshly prepared and we waited about 40 minutes (not a problem) service was very good. The new menu is an improvement and and reasonably priced. We will certainly be returning soon.

Booked a fairly early evening time and athough not empty by any means, the restaurant was not overcrowded. There was a very relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, the food was excellent and the service even better. We were royally looked after by Kebil and others. We were also pleasantly surprised by the total amount of the bill which was very reasonable. We will definitely be visiting again.

Lovely breakfast, nice atmosphere. Teething problems still but everyone tried very hard and were interested in improving which is worth a lot.

From arriving to leaving I can not fault a thing. Lovely staff, very friendly . Food was amazing and it made our anniversary evening special. Thank you to all the staff.

I visited with 3 friends for lunch. The food was tasty and service was friendly and efficient without us feeling rushed.

Had a recent funeral for a family member and we came back to the White Crow for refreshments with the funeral party. Excellent service and food, we were well looked after. We also visit here often as we live locally. Highly recommend.

Went with my daughter lovely food and excellent cocktails really enjoyed it

Food was good, more ackee with the saltfish pls. Snapper was excellent. Great atmosphere only spoilt by the poor table service by a particular waitress. Our main waitress was abrupt, rude, disinterested and unwelcoming. However our very brief interaction with the other waitress was far more positive - she showed a lot of care, consideration and was very attentive. For the food and the atmosphere we would return again and hopefully have a better service experience.

Four of us dined and we all really enjoyed our food. We have been a few times before its always good and the staff are lovely.

Absolute disaster of a meal at the new windmill - drinks orders were “lost” we reordered and they were served 55 minutes after we arrived, minus the gin in gin and tonics, the food order was taken after an hour by frazzled but friendly staff. Food arrived cold, which was ironic as one guest ordered a chicken sizzler. Truly terrible don’t waste your time nor money here!

Usually a fantastic restaurant. However, on our last visit, the service was extremely slow and quite rude to be honest. We wasn't greeted, waited over 30 minutes just to order drinks - no apology for the wait. While other customers who arrived later than us, were already being served their meal. Completely ignored throughout until the very end. The waitress seemed constantly annoyed that she was even there, never smiled, or was welcoming in any way. The restaurant was not busy with only half full so there was no excuse for the lengthy waiting. As for the food, it was lovely as always BUT, for the price, the portions are only a few mouthfuls. I was expecting a full meal for the hench box, but it was few spoonfuls of curry goat and one jerk chicken thigh. I have to be honest here guys, the experience was not how it was a few years ago! This little gem has so much potential. Please re-train your staff on how to greet customers, apologise for waiting and increase your portions, even just by an extra spoonful. You will only bring in more custom with these tweeks!

Lovely meal , great service best carbonara I’ve had for a long time . Bit noisy as there seemed to be a birthday on for a young man but we had a great night and it was nice to see the young ones enjoying themselves . Probably return when music is on really like that touch on a Friday .
