Great quality food and a really clever take on pub food.

Had a meal yesterday with my friend and sisters, the food was amazing as normal the service was great our waitress was so friendly and knowledgeable (sorry can’t remember her name) I love love love Angela the manager she sprays takes the time to come over and say hello, great looking pub in a beautiful place what’s not to love x

This is our favourite place to eat in Didsbury. We eat there nearly every Sunday evening. The food is delicious and very creative too. The stew of the day is a firm favourite and the crayfish salad is a real treat. We love the friendly atmosphere and great personal service.

Pleasant table in the conservatory with excellent live music. I had asked to be seated outside but was given a table inside but was moved on request to a lovely table. I ordered beetroot, goats cheese and fig salad which was good. My caramel, coffee cocktail was not nice but I think that’s just a personal taste thing but was too thick and bitter. My friend ordered a drink which did not appear, on asking again two arrived in short succession so one was sent back. My friend asked if her carbonara could be made without cream and was told no but with a bit of cream? We were asked if we’d like a ten minute break before our mains and said yes to this. Our mains did not appear for about 35 minutes so we asked where they were and they appeared instantly. When it arrived my slow cooked lamb pasta was dry and in chunks in the pasta, not a slow cooked texture at all so I sent it back. The food looked as though it’d been waiting and clearly forgotten. I was asked if I’d like to order anything else and ordered another starter of mussels for quickness which were ok but a bit overcooked but in a nice soup and tasty. Staff were pleasant. The music was excellent, an acoustic guitarist/vocalist. Our bill had to be corrected twice, the third glass of wine was charged for and a spritzer that we didn’t have. I’ve had better food here before, I think on a Friday it’s too busy, I’m not sure I’d come again.

Booked a table for 6 on Sunday, meal was good, service was prompt, but big shout out to all the staff especially Matt, in supporting and helping with our daughter, who has asd adhd etc, it helps beyond words when she gets the attention and food required, thank you xx

First time visit following our son's graduation ceremony. Fantastic food, fantastic service, fantastic atmosphere, will definitely be back.

Really disappointed I came to the rising moon for lunch on a Friday afternoon I had booked a table for me and my friend and our 2 babies which on the special request I ask for a high chair and for there to be space for a pram when we got there we had been shoved in a corner where there was no room for a high chair or a pram to which I asked could we move. My friend sat there with her 1 year old for at least 15 minutes and no one had brought a high chair when she then asked for one the women pointed and said they are over there and then quickly changed and said oh there isn’t any they must all be outside and just grabbed one from another table the high chair was absolutely disgusting full of food and no one came to clean it! After placing our drinks order we waited another 30/35 minutes and no drinks had come so we decided to just get up and go we explained to the women behind the bar and honestly she didn’t really care. I am a regular customer here and I am appalled at how poor the customer service was.

We really like Gnammy and have been three times in the last month, usually for the excellent Lasagna and a bottle of Promitivo. The meatball starters were excellent too.

The food was absolutely amazing, the service is great and the staff especially friendly. Have been here before and it just keeps getting better. Absolutely outstanding.

We had garlic flatbread and rosemary focaccia which were absolutely delicious and so flavoursome. We then had steak and the steak&ale pie, definitely the best steak in sale. Lovely, friendly service.

We ate here last night 20th July 2024. The service was excellent, Mario kept coming to the table to see how our meal was and to keep us informed on the progress. The staff were very polite. The meal was delicious. This was the second time we have been here, we bought another couple with us who hadn’t eaten here before. No complaints from us, will defo be back.

4th visit and just as good as the last 3 times. Food is exceptionally good and good value too. Staff are helpful, friendly and knowledgeable regarding the menu. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. Just overall a great place.

Fantastic meal as always. Great welcome. Loved my Dum Gosht - great depth of flavour! Lovely atmosphere and Rose was a fab singer. All round great evening.

Absolutely brilliant meal! The service was impeccable and we were made to feel so welcome. Definitely can’t wait to come back again and again, our favourite place to eat. Recommending you to all our friends.

I had both my hen night, and wedding meal here. The food was hot, fresh and beautifully presented. All the staff were amazing, with a shout out to Adele, the manager, and Adam, our waiter on the big day. Everyone who ate with us complimented the food, the atmosphere and the staff. We have returned since, and the food and service was just as good. A little gem of a pub.
