Straightforward menu but everything done exceptionally well

Lovely food but was a bit disappointed as one of the waitresses couldn’t wait for me to finish my food and decided to take my plate away. A little bit loud for me.

Fantastic evening, we had a table for 10 everything about the evening was great. The service was outstanding and the food gorgeous. Everybody thoroughly enjoyed it. ❤️

My wife and I had lunch last Sunday and from the minute we arrived were made to feel welcome by the friendly, attentive staff. Our original table wasn't suitable for my wife but without any fuss, the brilliant staff sorted another for us. The place was very busy with a great atmosphere.Our food arrived and not only looked good but tasted amazing. All in all a fantastic, great value, dining experience.We will definitely be returning. Well done and thanks to all the staff.

L’Aquila is by far the best Italian restaurant in the area. We won’t go anywhere else. Beautiful food and charming environment. It’s nice to know you’re helping a family run business.

Beautiful meal for my daughter's birthday. We had a wide selection of starters and mains and were looked after really well by the waitress. I opted for the chicken tikka starter and railway lamb main with buttered paratha which was very tasty. Only knocked a point off atmosphere as it was quiet so we felt a bit noisy, the playlist was excellent.

Amazing food - we went as a family of 4 and each (unusually) had 3 courses - starters, mains and puds - all plates cleaned as all were excellent. Lovely local feel and atmosphere too. We’ll definitely be back!!

First time here, food was good, service was great. Wanted to come here for a while, will be back shortly.
