Not the first or last time we will dine in your lovely establishment, the only downside which is obviously out of your control is the table opposite had very young children who made their presence known and made the conversation between my wife and I inaudible. Fantastic service, great food, brilliant meal out for my wife and I. We will be booking in very soon.Thank you.

Food was very good Pub was very busy and quite noisy we did ask to move table which they did for us , there was a very big leaving party in which is great for the pubs business ,kwe under stand . The 2 staff young lady and a young man that served us were very good with us very good service . Cost of the meal was very good .

On a positive note best Chateaubriand I have ever had Not so good— our choice of wine from the menu was not available, nor was the bread, or sauce. A no for for 3 requests was a little disappointing

We had the January set meal deal so it was very reasonably priced but the à la carte menu wasn’t too expensive either. The food was excellent, I particularly enjoyed the passionfruit crème brûle. Love the atmosphere and the service from the friendly staff. The cocktails hit the spot and some at happy hour prices. Smoky Old Fashioned is a favourite.

Had Sunday lunch in January, 4 adults and 4 children Good menu and portions and reasonably priced. Lunch was great especially the gravy. Will definitely be back. Staff very friendly

Had a lovely meal with my daughter & mum . We all had the flatbreads , Cajun chicken and hallumi. Beautifully presented , very tasty and very filling ! I’ll be back to work through the menu ! The service was great too Thank you

Had a wonderful meal here. Lovely place and great service. The food was excellent with big portions. From our party, 2 had the brisket pie which they raved about how good it was. It was an enormous piece of pie and really tasty. Plus a great price for the quality of food. The Waggon and Horses definitely becoming our go to pub when visiting the area. We will be back for more pie!

Fantastic food and service with 10 work colleagues

Fabulous! I had the lasagna in a pizza bowl ! Portions are big here so ended up taking half home. The tiramisu is delicious and again a big portion.

Great atmosphere, friendly welcome and attentive staff and to top it off , the food was fabulous. We even stayed for a drink on the sofa! No rush, relaxed and if you haven't been you're missing out.

Saturday was our first visit to The Fat Loaf and we weren't disappointed! As we walked in there was a singer playing which made for a great atmosphere, and the place was really busy and welcoming. We were served by a friendly and helpful waiter, and we felt that there was enough time to enjoy each course without feeling rushed. Everything we ordered was fresh, delicious and plentiful, and we were spoilt for choice. We will definitely be returning as everything about our visit was thoroughly enjoyable!
