Absolutely amazing place! Came yesterday with a table of 7 for our works Christmas do. We was the last booking that day but when we first entered it was very busy, but still we was serviced with a smile, all cocktails made with such a high standard. Food for all 7 people was made perfectly and not 1 mistake made or order wrong. I had a quesidilla and rice and 2 cocktails and spent £25.75. I couldn't recommend this place more!

Our family of 5 recently had Sunday lunch at The Rising Moon on the 17/12/23, with some opting for the beef dinner and others chicken. This was our second visit within the space of 6 weeks. What can I say besides the fact we were not disappointed on this latest visit, with all of our meals served hot and really scrumptious! The beef was lovely and tender and so was the chicken, lovely mashed and fluffy roast potatoes and vegetables cooked to perfection. The gravy was delicious too! We could not fault anything, from the table and bar service, the food and that the meals are exceptionally good value for money. I have eaten quite a few Sunday lunches in local eateries within Greater Manchester and can say without a doubt that the lunches served at The Rising Moon are the best, I am more than happy to submit this review and will definitely be going again soon.

Been here lots of times, this latest visit was with a large party of family for a birthday celebration. Fabulous Sunday Roast Pick n Mix really enjoyed by everybody followed by tasty desserts. Friendly and hospitable service as always. A gem of a place

Great food and service as it always is, Absolutely loved the candy cane martinis, they was delicious.

On arrival, the table wasn't ready for the time we'd booked. There was still food on the floor under the table from the previous customers. Service was very slow , we had to remind or ask about the status for food and drinks at the bar 3 times. The last round was completely forgotten and the obligatory £30 deposit was not automatically deducted from the final bill. The food was ok though. (Only ok, not amazing)

Super lunch on Sunday 17 December. Josh excelled with goats' cheese rarebit with figs and walnuts; mussels, clams and cod risotto. Very well looked after by Theresa and Tim.

Had a meal with my son at this lovely Italian restaurant. The service was excellent. All food piping hot and freshly made. The place was busy as soon as its doors opened, yet the staff paid good attention to people at all tables. Been here a few times and had different meals each time, the seafood risotto with mussels was exceptional. We shall be back soon.

The pub has a lovely friendly atmosphere. The menu is very interesting and the small plates looked delicious and generous portions. We had a paneer burger with masala fries, 3 curries with naan breads and a fish & chips. All enjoyed and agreed we would return. I had the prawn vindaloo, wad good to see a flavoursome Goan vindoloo on the menu and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Good tasty food is not produced quickly , so please be patient with the kitchen. Staff are friendly and helpful. Recommended.

Probably one of the best afternoon teas we have ever had. Everything was delicious and plenty to eat and drink. I can not wait to go again, I do hope this is not a special Christmas thing.

Had afternoon tea with my sister and mum. A beautiful and clean cafe. The food was excellent and plentiful. We enjoyed the fact that there was soup as well as sandwiches. The cakes are delicious. The waitress was very attentive. Would highly recommend.

Had an excellent 3 course meal on Friday. The starters, beef taco and Thai salad were tasty and absolutely delicious. The mains, oxtail with mash and steak were cooked to perfection. As for the deserts well they were gorgeous. This is one of Sale’s best kept secrets. The ambience and atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, this is due to the professionalism of the staff . They have a great selection of drinks from wine to cocktails. I highly recommend this restaurant

First time visiting the Fat Loaf and I will definitely be back. The food was amazing and really lovely, friendly staff.

I had the festive afternoon tea, which was great value for money. Great sandwich choice, warm scones, warm soup, amazing cakes, and a couple of cappuccinos. This shop is a lovely addition to Leigh, everybody should call in for a drink and a cake, there's a lovely selection to choose from. I will definitely be returning.

The food was excellent but had to wait nearly an hour for the table.
