The food was very good indeed. The staff were friendly and considerate. The place keeps improving which is no easy task when it's already pretty much top notch. I had however one minor quibble: when I received my dessert (mouth watering Tiramisu) it came with a ball of strawberry ice cream which was third rate. Why spoil something so good with something so bland ?! So, management, if you read these reviews, please give your customers better ice cream !! It doesn't matter whether it's an unexpected add-on or not, because simply providing it drags the overall quality of the dessert down.

Lovely pub in nice location, good varied menu including a ‘specials’ menu. Service was very good, enjoyed our lunch off the ‘specials menu. Pub was busy so would recommend booking.

My husband and I visited for our anniversary, the atmosphere was brilliant and the food was delightful. The staff were very professional and friendly, we will definitely be back soon!

The food was amazing and very tasty. However the waiting time between meals is taking a bit longer but would definitely visit again for the delicious food.

Friendly and professional service Nice venue Food was lush Wine and presentation was better than some expensive restaurants in city centre. Definitely will be back
