Quite simply the food was superb, the staff were excellent. No service charge was added onto the bill which was good. We did tip because the staff were so attentive but it was nicer to do so without being pressurised into it.

We had a lovely meal and such a great experience. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, and the food was absolutely delicious. It was our first visit, but it definitely won’t be our last — we’ll certainly be back!

Not been to Papa Luigi,s for over 20 years despite living locally but decided to have evening meal there last Friday. It was a great experience, the staff are so friendly ,the tables set with white tablecloths are pristine , the service was great and the food was delicious, another point to note is that the toilets are impressive, spotlessly clean and finished to a very high standard. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will be back more often in the future.

Excellent as always. Delicious food and fabulous service. Especially enjoy seeing local produce being used. Thank you. The only down side (it isn't really), is that I end up spending more money on plants too! These are always good quality and the staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable Thank you.

We frequently eat here and have never had a bad meal. Service is always spot on and food amazing, highly recommend.

Have been here a couple of times recently. It’s a lovely place to visit, great views while you eat. The food is delicious and portions are generous. I had the fisherman’s platter with two types of smoked salmon, mackerel pate, prawns and very tasty fresh bread and butter. My friend had the Lymefield platter - a cheese and meat lover’s delight! The staff are very friendly and helpful as well. Definitely would recommend a visit, but avoid the temptations in the shop! I guarantee you won’t come out without buying anything!

A party of 8 of us enjoyed a lovely meal last night, staff very friendly and helpful. We all ate something different and we all really enjoyed our food. I could highly reccommend this restaurant, we will definately be back

Party of 12 for bottomless brunch, service & food was excellent with drinks flowing fast. Well worth a visit

The food was really good and the service was excellent. The girls and boys that were serving the food and serving behind the bar were working really hard as the place was packed, but that did not stop them from being friendly and helpful.

From start to finish the service and food excellent. Very attentive staff and not intrusive. Highly recommended

Have been coming here for over 10 years and it's always a lovely experience and great food. Wonderful staff and very welcoming.

Both my first and second courses were excellent and perfectly cooked.The ricotta and strawberries with balsamic glaze on sourdough toast for starter was very inventive and the monkfish with accompanying vegetables was delicious.

As always, a great welcome, fabulous food, excellent service and value for money .... and for a change i tried tge Sunday roast... it did not disappoint.

Lovely place friendly staff and amazin food

Always enjoy visiting and eating here. The meals are always excellent, and good portions, service is great and the pub has a lovely atmosphere with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. I recommend this restaurant and have been visiting for many years. The current owner has kept up the standard and runs everything very well. When eating in the evening, it is best to eat or book an early time , which suits us, most people drive here (excellent, large carpark) so the pub tends to wind down early. But during the day, and when the weather is sunny, there are excellent facilities outside, with a play area for children, so family friendly. We are older, so the pub/restaurant caters for all ages.
