The food was a bit too hot. The lamb dish was good but the level of spiciness killed the dish in the end. Even the Uttapam was a too hot. Not sure what is going on with the spice levels in the kitchen. I should note we are Indian as well so not averse to spice. But this was certainly on another level. Still it;s not easy to find South Indian / Keralan food in the UK so it was a welcome change.

Me and my partner went there Saturday. We have passed it loads of times and smelt the Garlic. Have a lovely meal and had a bottle of prosecco which came with an ice bucket full of ice, great service and didn't have to wait at all . Will definitely come again. Tasty food good service reasonable prices.

Very handy location for central manchester and Bridgewater Hall. Small restaurant, very attentive staff, great pizza / pasta. EXPENSIVE DRINKS especially wine by the glass and bottled beers.

Amma’s Canteen never fails to deliver on taste and quality, we always enjoy our our evenings at Amma’s our only complaint is that we don’t live closer! Amazing every time.

We went for a midweek lunch and the staff were very friendly and efficient. The meal was beautiful. I had the steak pie and my wife had the cheese and onion pie. The only very slight criticism is that the wine was very expensive at over £9 for a large South African Sauvignon blanc. Will definitely be back again. Thank you.

The food is absolutely gorgeous. Beautifully presented, very tasty and great service. Ideal for a lovely meal before going to a show at the close by theatre.

Went for a pre theatre meal. We had two pizzas and some drinks. Everything was lovely, cooked perfectly, well priced and great staff!

Superb food and even better service.

Crowded House is one of those rare gems hidden in plain sight. If you're local to the Bury/Whitefield area you may well have drived by it several times barely noticing its jaunty facade breaking the monotony of the surrounding terrace houses. Yet this unassuming front opens into a veritable tardis of a house; comprising an eclectically inventive restaurant both in terms of decor and dishes, as well as a lush beauty salon atop. The folk running the place are utterly delightful. They take pride in their house, their creations and choices, and they want you to enjoy your time with them. Crowded House is one of the few reasons why I regret emigrating from the UK, and I fully intend to take along my friends and family on each and every occasion I return home.

Service was great, food was lovely. Great atmosphere very relaxing would highly recommend, we all had different dishes and everyone was lovely, will definitely be returning.
