Papa Luigis – WiganAmazing service!!!
La Sentidos Loca – WiganGreat service and great tasting food, I’d definitely recommend Chakalaka and will return again to try more dishes. Relaxed atmosphere and chilled music, fab place.
Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreBrilliant little place to eat, great service and great food. Can't beat it.
Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreGood good and drinks at reasonable prices.. friendly staff too
Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreGreat place to eat. Really friendly and helpful staff, and the food is delicious. It was our first time but we'll be coming back soon.
La Sentidos Loca – WiganWe’ve been for Sunday lunch at The Fat Loaf several times now, since we discovered it had reopened after Covid and have absolutely loved it!! The wine list is impressive whilst surprisingly good value (the Showstopper Cabernet went down very nicely indeed!) All the starters are remarkably tasty. I chose the salt cod croquettes this time, which were delicate morsels of loveliness - simply delicious. My partner chose the mince and onions - so much nicer than it sounds and equally delicious! The Sunday roast is really terrific. Both my roast lamb and my partner’s roast chicken were moist, succulent and very tasty indeed, as were all the accompaniments (especially the roast potatoes which had the perfect combination of flavour, crunch and softness!) We never have room for desert but they sounded delicious. Maybe one day… We both feel very lucky to have such a great restaurant within walking distance of our house and we will definitely be back again soon!
Fat Loaf – SaleA place to be!
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreCosy cafe. I enjoyed the English Breakfast Tea with jam and cream scone. I will visit again soon.
The Art of Tea – DidsburyYet again, we had a wonderful visit : food, welcome and service all exemplary. Many thanks
A Tavola Gastronomia Siciliana – StockportGood quality food, great portion size, and nice atmosphere. I love the hats and ponchos around the place!
La Sentidos Loca – WiganThe staff were friendly but despite my booking didn't seem to know we were booked in. My food + my son's dinner was great. My daughter nearly in law felt that her noodles fell short because some of the onions were burnt. The staff accommodated my grandson without any delay. Altogether, we were mostly happy. The points won't move beyond 3/5. I'd give 4/5
The Boathouse Pub & Kitchen – WiganAbsolutely amazing as always
Anatolian Grill – PrestwichFirst and last visit. Pre theatre meal. The seating was comfortable. The food was rather poor. Inedible tinned mushrooms and frozen prawns, tasteless cheese and tomato starters. Vegetables on main meal were soggy and well overcooked and in very short supply. Bolognese was bland and the pizza bases were not cooked in the middle. Disappointing. Hygiene-wise one of our party told the staff that there was no soap in the washroom despite the fact there was a large poster telling you wash your hands and explaining how to do this with diagrams. I visited the washroom 30 minutes later and still no soap! Rather poor and very unhygienic.
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreFantastic little place with the best food in Didsbury. Always my favourite spot for coffee, drinks, dinner and live music!
The Art of Tea – DidsburyWe had a fabulous evening at Crowded House this week. It was our first visit and we will definitely be returning! The greeting, service, ambiance and food were impeccable! Thank you, we were so impressed! Absolutely faultless!
