Me and my husband went on a Friday night. A warm welcome was given,fantastic staff great choices from the menu both drinks and food. Staff were on the ball and never far away to take further drinks orders.The only slight negative was the potato skin starters which were overcooked but this shouldn't take away the great experience we had.Definatly be booking again soon .

What a fantastic experience we had last night when we ate, for the first time, at A Tavola. In every area it was simply faultless. The best meal and authentic food we've had in possibly 30 years. There was a real buzz in the place and the service and attention was first rate. Food was really excellent and a really good choice of dishes, any of which we could have eaten. Well done to all the team at A Tavola. We will certainly be back

Spent 2 Evenings in Manchester & had 2 fantastic meal for my Best friend & myself which the Staff & Food where exceptional - 5 star all round.

Visited the restaurant yesterday 2 July to celebrate our 44th wedding anniversary. The restaurant was vibrant and busy, decor casual and smart. The staff were super and the food was great. A great addition to New Mills looks like a great success for everyone!!! Cannot wait to try everything on the menu.

My favourite restaurant. Attentive and friendly staff. My 2 friends and I spent a lovely long lunch there yesterday. Food perfect as usual, not 'messed with' just excellent fresh and delicious. See you again soon.

Lovely mains but very small portion. Would be more worth it if fries are included in the price. Very tasty.

We found the menu very limited and very poor on vegetarian choices

We had a great time and the food and drinks are really tasty and good value. On the whole the staff are amazing and friendly, but unfortunately we did have an issue as we were kicked out early and told that someone else had the area booked (it was about 10:30 so that did seem strange!), there were lots of spare tables so we asked if we could move there but were told no. Then we were told a manager had said we had to go as we didn't have it booked, and later we were told they were short staffed and we had to go as two bar staff were going home. I don't know which was true but it was quite a sour end to what was a really lovely night as it just felt as though we were being lied to. I would go again but make sure I was clear at the start when we'd be kicked out!

Excellent food, attentive unobtrusive service and great value for money. Highly recommended and we will be returning soon and frequently.

We are so happy that A Tavola has survived its move from Reddish to New Mills, it’s easy to get to and really worth the trip. The food is authentic (unlike most other places) and delicious as always and they now make their own pasta and gelato! We received a very warm welcome from all the staff and the service was superb. The new restaurant looks great and the atmosphere is wonderful, we felt as if we’d been teleported back to our holidays in Sicily. Really looking forward to our next visit.

Another lovely meal at the Armenian Taverna! As usual - good food, good service, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Love it here.

Too long a wait in between courses. At least an hour for the starter to be served from ordering and the same again an hour between the starter and main course. The staff were very inattentive and they never even said goodbye when we was leaving. My husband his friend had the shin beef and pasta. It was a pile of slop on the plate. I however had the salmon and gnocchi which was very tasty. Overall a very underwhelming experience. I could do better myself. The quality doesn’t reflect on the pricing. Very over priced for the standard of food. I was expecting so much more. We was treating our friends but it felt a little embarrassing. Stunning looking venue inside and out but lots needs working in my opinion. We wouldn’t recommend or be returning. Pity really.

We went for a belated birthday family dinner. The atmosphere was nice and relaxed with excellent service, the food was delicious and well worth the price.

We experienced our first meal at the new restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed it. The restaurant has all the vitality and ambiance of the old one, but with the advantage of having a little more space and located in nicer surroundings. The cuisine is excellent and offers a wide selection that should accommodate everyone. The lamb cutlets were so nice although my wife would argue her swordfish had the edge. Genuinely 5/5 all round. We ordered this as takeaway during lockdown and were blown away with the quality. Then finally we were able to eat in the restaurant and the food is presented so beautifully. The staff are nice and funny and the food is such a good price. My current favourite place in Manchester.

We had many great visits when A Tavola was in Stockport but the space available at the time was always an issue for us. ….Now with the relocation (us too), it’s perfect!!! and what a fabulous job has been done on the decor. A very nice addition to New Mills. Great quality food, reasonable pricing and a really friendly efficient service. A wonderful atmosphere…..We felt like we were on holiday. We’ll definitely be back very soon.
