Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreHad the most chilled lovely Saturday lunch at the Fox with our son and partner and their 3 week old baby. We were in a great place out of direct sunshine and the food service and atmosphere was fabulous! It is a truly great set up here at the Fox and we will be returning. Food is amazing !! The staff are efficient and so friendly X.
The Fox Roby Mill – WiganWe had a booking for a party of 4 and had a lovely experience. Staff were friendly, food was lovely and seating area was lovely. One thing I loved were the wine glasses, lovely big size for a large wine rather than the tiny ones you tend to get elsewhere. Will definitely return!
Il Mulino – WiganSo so good! I didn’t have high expectations to be honest however I thought I would give it a try and wow the food service and drinks were amazing! The food was unreal super tasty, good value for money and I left very satisfied and full. The outdoor seating just lovely, we sat in one of the huts but the overall atmosphere was just lovely. Heaters all around so when the sun dropped and it got a little chilly the heaters were put on and it was lovely. The added bonus blankets which were a really good added touch. I left and booked again immediately , I couldn’t believe I was able to book again I thought it would be fully booked! Can’t wait for my next visit already! 5 stars
The Fox Roby Mill – WiganLove this place. We’ve been coming as a family for as long as it’s been open. Food is always consistently yummy, staff lovely with a nice, relaxed, no-fuss atmosphere .
Cafe Italia – BoltonWe had a lovely meal here, my husband and I had the chicken livers to start with and they were delicious! The meatballs were really good too! The pizzas were home made and very good. We had a booth outside, we had a heater which was very effective. The atmosphere was very good and the attention to detail was very good too. Our only comment would be we look forward to some specials on the menu as we felt it lacked more pasta dishes. However, we were told they want to perfect the existing menu before anything else is added which is understandable! We will definitely be regulars to this restaurant and we wish you very success,!
Il Mulino – WiganGreat evening at art of tea, lovely food and beers and wine. Fab outdoor space and slotted us in for a booking for a Friday night that morning, so helpful!
The Art of Tea – DidsburyGreat time at Wigan Central bar as always. Great friendly bar staff , who are very knowledgeable about all the drinks they sell. Good choice of drinks. Well organised with the bookings and table service. Lovely ciders. Thanks will definitely be going again.
Wigan Central – WiganThe outside area at Il Mulino is beautiful. We had one of the booths, with heating. It felt relaxed and safe. The food was amazing. Everything we had was tasty and well prepared. All the meals arrived at the same time and were hot and beautifully cooked. The staff were friendly and helpful, without being overbearing. Highly recommended.
Il Mulino – WiganFab setting , fantastic food and lovely service couldn’t fault it! Outside seating area is nice clean and comfortable, the food was so good! I’m looking for my next excuse to book a table. Waitress’s were friendly chatty and had big smile on their faces, checked on us mid meal and quick to clear plates. Highly recommend.
The Fox Roby Mill – WiganWhat can I say excellent food and excellent service. Will definitely be going back. So glad to have a restaurant like this on our doorstep. High class restaurant in such beautiful surroundings. Well done everyone.
Il Mulino – WiganI’ve been twice now dining inside and outside. Both times the service and food were incredible, the staff are very helpful and friendly, I have tried a main meal & starters as well as just having some nibbles to share and compliments to the chef. The value for money with food is spot on and for the service as a whole is fantastic, this is probably the most dog friendly place I’ve ever eaten at!
The Fox Roby Mill – WiganLovely food and great service at our favourite local it was so good to be back.
The Fox Roby Mill – WiganLovely, tasty food. Atmosphere nice and chilled and staff very friendly. Garden area is very pretty with nice touches to create a cosy feel. Kids enjoyed their meals and good portion sizes for a change! We will be back and have already recommended to family and friends. Thank you x
The Fox Roby Mill – WiganExcellent as always.
The Art of Tea – DidsburyFirst class service by our waitress Millie, the food was great, fully recommend.
Il Mulino – WiganAlways a great welcome. Fantastic beers and service. The pork pies are amazing even better when you’ve been on a lockdown diet. We don’t live near but so happy to travel to enjoy some first class beer .
Wigan Central – WiganThe steps taken by Wigan Central’s staff to operate within the current Covid restrictions are exemplary. The booking in system and ordering system works well and in spite of being on a busy corner with not “the best view” in Wigan does not detract from the atmosphere. The range of drinks available remains extensive and interesting. There is cover but customers might wish to take an umbrella and perhaps warm clothing in the event of inclement weather; then sun lotion as the weather hopefully improves. Well done Wigan Central. As we did not eat we could not score the food although the cheese board on the next table looked very tempting.
