Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreFirst time in this restaurant , for pre theatre dinner , food good , service good especially as it was Friday evening and so very busy , great atmosphere .....have already booked again
Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreA friday evening expedition for tea/dinner and what a super find it turned out to be.The welcome and service were excellent and the place itself was warm and very attractive. The food offerings were very good even on the Early Dinner Menu and the standard and amount of food was excellent. When we were there it was very early and so there were only a few people in the restaurant so we are not really able to comment on the overall atmosphere of the restaurant. Certainly we will be back and we will be telling others about the gem in AoM.
Fat Loaf – SaleI fully recommend this little, friendly restaurant with the most amazing chef and fantastic staff. The food is good quality fresh food that you could match to any top restaurant. We are so lucky to have this place within walking distance of our home. It is one of my favourites and we take different friends each time we visit. It is well worth trying but you will have to book in advance due to the rising popularity.
Great atmosphere...the staff are lovely and friendly..it is a unique place in Reddish where you feel your transported to Sicily. Tasty flavoursome food, cooked with love. I love this place !
We went to Gio a few years ago and had a good meal so we thought we would try Giorgios when we were in Manchester again. We went early for a pre theatre meal. It filled up very quickly with people doing the same as us, so a good job we booked. The staff were friendly and efficient. We weren’t kept waiting long between courses but neither did we feel rushed. The food was excellent. All added together we had a lovely early evening meal. We will be calling again next time we are in Manchester for the theatre.
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreTook a party of 12 there for a meal. Place was lively without bearing overbearing, so we could talk without shouting or straining. Good food and drink, prompt service delivered with a smile.
Dough Pizza Kitchen – Northern QuarterCame on 2 successive evenings and on both times we had a lovely evening. Food was delicious and all the staff great.
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreTook some friends to Fat Loaf in Ashton on Mersey Village and yet again another fantastic meal. Staff are so warm and friendly nothing is to much trouble. We will be back very soon, thanks guys
Fat Loaf – SaleWe had a lovely meal, the service was so efficient, the food was delicious. The first time we've enjoyed an Italian restaurant in years!
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreWe arrived at 5.45 for our reservation at 6pm, we were told our table number and left to find it on our own. Would have been good practice to be taken to our table. The order was taken straight away but it was 45minutes before our starters arrived, have to say the starters were good. We then waited and waited for our main meals, after about 30 mins the waitress came and asked us to confirm if we had had our starters as the kitchen for some reason had done them again? A man then came over and said our mains were now being cooked, this was now another 30mins or so later, he did compensate us with a drink each on the house. Still we waited and eventually the mains arrived. My husband had the peri peri chicken and it was awful, it had been flattened that much it was the thickness of a piece of cardboard, they had over cooked it so much that it was inedible, and in places black where burnt, his peas were like bullets needless to say he left it. I had rag pudding and it was bland, looked like and tasted like a frozen processed pudding not very appetising. When we came to pay the man asked us if everything ok to which we replied not really and explained why to which he replied I don’t know what’s happening because there were 5 of them in the kitchen. We thought after reopening that there would have been an improvement all round sadly mistaken. We will not be going back
Fairview Inn – RochdaleGreat service & lovely staff. Massive food portions so be warned. The cocktails are two for £10 .. great value. We've been lots of times and never been disappointed. Would highly recommend it.
La Sentidos Loca – WiganGood food but disappointed that at 3pm on a Sunday afternoon they had no chicken or beef Sunday roast.
The George Charles – DidsburyVisited on sun 2nd feb. Disaster! Group of 4 had meals for my 8 year old daughters birthday. I was the only person to have the chicken and chorizo pizza. Ate 3/4 of it and had to make a mad dash to the bathroom and vomited everything back, stomach pains etc. Informed the staff which weren't too sympathetic and in way of apology took only my food off the bill. Didnt argue about it as i needed to get out of there. We have been here many times before and always enjoyed. Very dissappointed ☹
Papa Luigis – WiganBrilliant service and wonderful food! Always a warm welcome and very accomodating.
Fat Loaf – SaleSuch an amazing place. We are not regulars, but felt like they knew us before our mains arrived. The chef came out to meet people and we couldn’t tell him how good the food was because our mouths were still full of delicious explosions of flavour. The blood orange salad is a must if you’re having some slightly heavier dishes. The arancini - AMAZING. Local burrata - literally dripping with deliciousness. Everything on the menu was perfect and I can’t wait to go back. Feel free to book a table, you don’t want to miss out.
Excellent food and service
