Really enjoyed the excellent beef carvery here. The meat was so tender. great looking venue and the staff were very friendly and well trained.

We are so lucky to have a lovely Italian restaurant just round the corner the food is great and the staff treat you like family

Well well well where do I start ? I’ve been going Indish for the best part of 5 years and class it as one of my ‘banker’ restaurants I.e. It never fails to deliver fresh quality tasting food. We got a couple of popadoms and the usual dips whilst waiting and the red onions were warm and dry and tasted stale like they were old I instantly knew something is wrong. Then my mixed grill starter came and it tasted like it had been microwaved I’m pretty sure it must have been the chicken and lamb were tough and dry and the sheesh kebab was like rubber, if that wasn’t bad enough my lamb chop was inexcusable as the bone at the bottom still had 2inch of gristle running all the way up to the meat at the top and was dry and disgusting I couldn’t believe I was in the same/usual restaurant it was that bad. I ordered keema rice and and chicken chilli masala main and again it was dreadful seriously I’m not overplaying this something’s gone drastically wrong in this place. The keema rice had no taste let alone taste bad it just simply tasted of nothing I’m still in shock. To top it off my partner had her usual Penacolada cocktail and that wasn’t right even after they tried to make it twice. The bar area clearly looked unorganised. After our meal the guy from reception asked us if everything was alright and I told him everything I’ve written here and he said he’d sort us out next time. No good mate £50 meal that was left and horrible from start to finish is somewhere I will never go again I’m just hoping I don’t get poorly. Like the headline says BEWARE this is no longer the Indish I knew and loved !! I asked if it was under new management but they assure me it wasn’t so I’m mystified as to what’s happened to the quality and standards.

My husband and I come back here time and again because it is by the far the best little restaurant within miles. The food is lovingly made and beautifully presented. The service is warm and inviting and the fact that it’s such a cosy little place just makes it all the more special.

Took my mum for lunch on her 90 th birthday, their were 7 of us altogether, The food was amazing, the stafff lovely friendly and helpfulll, we had balloons on the table and they also supplied the candles for the cake , my mum had a wonderful afternoon, would recommend The Midway to anybody looking for somewhere nice to eat. Many thanks to management and staff.

No facilities for disabled customers. At least 12 very steep stairs to only toilet. Told staff too difficult for me to use stairs and they suggested I go to the hotel next door and use their facilities. I thought it was against the law not to have facilities for disabled customers

This place is not the best I wouldn’t recommend coming here the food is very very oily and tastes horrible and like water also the staff are not very helpful or respectful

Really good lunch for the three of us. all were happy with their choices. service was pleasant and unobtrusive.

Empire is by far Bolton's best!! The cocktails are exceptional, never seen anything this high quality outside of Manchester. not to mention the fine dining restaurant underneath - super relaxed, cosy and intimate!! Perfect for celebrations or just a general treat!! I cant wait to return!

Chinese hotpot is a thing, a comfort thing in China. Cook your own food in a broth of choice. Add in a conveyor belt of veg, meat and fish Yo Sushi style and you have One + in Manchester. Really enjoyed the food as well as the novelty of it!

Visited the poachers on mon 9th april and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. My fiancé says the fajitas was to die for as for the cheesy bacon chips out of this world.The staff where very friendly and although there were not many people in at the time we went the atmosphere was very good will go back there soon as we had a enjoyable evening.

Lovely lunch in immaculate surroundings. Chicken Shawarma with all the trimmings. Amazing selection of sweet delicacies too!

Placed our first takeaway away order over a year ago and it was excellent. Sadly, over the last four/five months, standards have certainly slipped i.e. the quality of the chicken pieces less tender these days. Also experienced a problem every time in recent months with the packaging of said takeaway...each time we have unpacked our order at least one curry lid has collapsed thereby necessitating the wiping down of all the dishes before can even think of serving. Thought we had found an excellent Indian restaurant but, unfortunately, our search must continue once again.

Love this cafe in Altrincham. Real character and quality food. Comfy sofas and good coffee!
