A friend and i popped in here after Xmas shopping, very friendly atmosphere. Homely & very reasonably priced for good quality food.
Ciao Napoli – BoltonI went to per tutti with my girl-friends.we all eat out on a regular basis together and we agreed this was the best place to eat in Manchester.the food was of excellent standard and tasted even better. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to other friends and we will definitely be visiting again.
Per Tutti – Manchester City Centrebrilliant service, amazing food 10/10
India Gate – BoltonMy husband and I have just walked out of this place, after waiting over 45 minutes having placed our order for two cold drinks and a couple of food orders which were off the menu and uncomplicated. The cafe was busy when we arrived and we took a table that had just been vacated. In the whole time we were there the table was not cleared of the previous occupants dirty plates which we eventually cleared ourselves. We also had to wipe the table ourselves. Upon the table next to us walking out and commenting that they had still not been served, i enquired with the woman behind the counter, when we could expect to receive our order. She said she didn't know. I told her to please find out or we would be leaving. She came and told us they hadn't even started. At that we left. This place describes itself as "laid back" i would comment that it's all very well having a laid back atmosphere, but this cannot be matched by a laid back attitude to service if a business is to survive. I doubt this lot will unless they pull their socks up massively!
Mary & Archie – DidsburyThe perfect place for any Xmas party! WOW! Grill on the Alley made our office party the perfect way to end the year! We had a fantastic night with fantastic food, great cocktails and embraced the brilliant ambiance all night. The only negative of the evening was it had to end! A sure thing we will be back next year!!
The Grill On the Alley – Manchester City CentreWe took a family of eight on new years eve we had to book and pay a deposit but it was worth it .great food 3 courses and drinks for £20 each good value.
Buraq – WiganRude workers with the person taking orders over the phone stopping half way through to pick up his mobile phone! Deliverer asking for a good few pounds more than it should have been (luckily worked out before he arrived). Food was poor and relatively cold considering it was here within 30mins. Do not order from here.
Best Recipe – ChorltonWhat a lousy night outside, but inside a warm
Green Bengal Restaurant – BoltonHaving visited per tutti last week with a few friends I was extremely impressed with the modern, classy decor
Per Tutti – Manchester City CentreWent for xmas dinner with the family, £50 a head for adults and £27 a head for children. The food and service wasn't particularly good. Interesting to read all the positive reviews about the place on this site and it's a pity we didn't enjoy the same experience as others seem to have done. The pheasant was overcooked and served as whole with little or no room for the vegetables. The prawn and salmon starter was fine (no cooking involved for that dish) but the pate was considered barley edible that came with a rather lacklustre salad. The turkey was also too dry. No wine service and a rather bizarre system for ordering drinks at the table that 'had' to be paid for 'now'. Awful coffee served at the end, with a small carton of UHT cream to whiten it. A carton of UHT cream? An after dinner chocolate mint came with coffee but each one had melted in its packet next to the hot coffee cup it accompanied. I know this won't make a blind bit of difference because the place is so popular and that is probably the problem: complacency. The place was fully booked and the money was in the bank so why bother with the notion of providing the customer with anything approaching a reasonable service; the customer can disregarded as a mug. £180 was the total bill I paid for my wife, children and myself: for what? Happy xmas The Owls at Standish, obviously, I'll not be going again.
The Owls At Standish – WiganHaving visited per tutti last weekend with five friends, I would recommend this place to everyone, we started our evening in the classy bar area with cocktails before being seated in the beautifully designed restaurant. For my starter I chose the Impepata di Cozze, mussels in a white wine
Per Tutti – Manchester City CentreChristmas eve 2011 first time at this restaurant Indian food was tasty,The only down side we could hear the pinging sound of a micro wave. Not what i like to hear in a restaurant
Dhanak Deira – BoltonExquisite food, fabulous service, excellent value. We had the Christmas two course fixed price menu, and are already making plans to visit again in the new year.
Sole Seafood Restaurant & Bar – Manchester City Centreexcellent menu, quality food and service.really nice atmosphere, and extensive specials menu/ this place is a benchmark for restaurants in Bolton
King William – BoltonI came to Manchester last year in September, and I've tried all restaurants that claim to be Indian cuisine based, this one place is what authentic Indian food is..!! they have been able to bring the actual taste of Indian food that i enjoyed all my life in spiceless northwest which is overtaken by worthless donners and stuffs that reflect not an ounce of what Indian people eat, apart from being so unhealthy. anyways, i have tried this place a couple of times, they have nice preparations, especially south indian dishes, i really wonder apart from them there in no other south Indian cuisine serving restaurant. the seating is comfortable, and you can spend some quality time here especially since they have liquor licence. Also they have Indian beer on draught, which to me, did not taste authentic, but all the same i cant negate it of its Indian correspondence. the owner is a fine gentleman and a connoisseur for food and personally takes interest in the preparations. staff is alright, not that delightful as the name is. still 5 star for food, 3 star for service, and 4 star for ambience. per head cost is £10 approx, in a group. A nice checkout and a dependable option for authentic Indian food.
Punjab Tandoori – RusholmeFriendly, tasty, warm, lovely and loving place!!! Visit once and you will become their client forever!
Bilash Balti House – SwintonThe Owls is a JOKE! I am highly disappointed with the service and unorganization! I have always come to the owls for a meal whatever the occasion and for a Christmas party we decided to go and the waitresses gave my vegetarian friend a meat lasagna instead on the vegetarian, not only allowing my friend to become extremely ill and was throwing up in the toilets. When asking for the manager the manager shouted at me and I was spoken to in an aggressive tone and felt very victimised . No apology was given. When leaving the owls in disappointment of our meals due to the disgrace of the menu when paying we realised that we had been charged for meals we hadn't even ordered! I will never go to the Owls again. Very very disappointed
