avoid at all costs unless you enjoy having mice running around your table whilst dining !! we witnessed a waiter stamp on a mouse then kick it under the bar area with a skill that has obviously been well practised

If people have enjoyed eating here they must consider McDonalds wonderful. It is, how do I phrase this, I know, absolutely rubbish! It is posh, for chavs. Kerry Katona would love it! If you want a drink you have to get up from the table and go to the bar, oh how posh is this! The background music is wonderful -the sound of silence. The service is second to none, and I mean there is none! It really shows Wigan at its best - I think not! If your standards are low, this is for you. Cheese, cheese and more cheese. Get a takeaway.

Rigalettos – Wigan
Koreana

The food is very authentic Korean. The Korean meatballs really were the dogs b******s

Visited Earle for the first time last week and was impressed. The service, food and atmosphere were all spot on, and when the bill arrived we were pleasantly surprised to see that it came it at just £30 each, including our drinks. We'll be going again, and recommend it to anyone for a great meal out in Hale.

I like caspians the best cos it does chillo kebabs and they are yummy

Ate here recently (22/10/08) and it was terrible. Starters were poor, i had Livebait and the salad was at least 2 days old!! Brown and sullen looking. My wife had the fishcakes which were even worse!! Think Bird's eye fishfingers in a round dumpling shape!! Absolutely tasteless, no seasoning and the sauce was stone cold. Ordered 2 mushroom pizzas and the nightmare continued - frozen bases which had been put in the oven and come out all biscuity in texture and taste. Appalling. Avoid at all costs.

We have been to the Pearl on several occasions and we always have an excellent experience. The food is incredible - my husband raves particularly on the lamb chop starter - and the portions are plentiful. The staff are very attentive and the service both swift and professional. Our children are always welcomed as heartily as we are and enjoy the different selections to experiment with. With the modern, plush decor and extended bar area, the Pearl is a great place to enjoy a special occasion.

Very impressed with the Dim Sum it was the best I've had and my very hard to please Mother was equally impressed! Staff very polite. Prices are not bad all though if I was super critical the 1 king prawn in shell for £5 was very tasty but not a lot for price, don't mind paying as much if it's tasty! We are definitely going to come here again and bring friends. Thank you for lovely evening.x

Without a doubt, the Kush serve the best curries in Manchester! We have never been disappointed. The service is always superb and the food...well, just delicious, whether eating in or delivering to your door. Highly recommended.

a pleasingly clean and fresh place to eat, good healthy portions and sharable starters. house red was liked by all our group as others have said the upper floor location does raise the class of the place as so many of chorlton's eateries are shop front style with little real privacy as too the criticism of paper napkins - why not? we visited at 7.00pm on a Thursday and found it to be very pleasant and quiet but a booking is a must for busy periods

Lusitano – Chorlton

after several visits to croma, all of which were great fun and very reasonable, we have found that certain standards are slipping. in an area where there is so much choice and variation on every level, restaurants need to stay attentive to detail or custom slips away our last visit was a niece's 10th birthday and the children's ice cream dessert was obviously straight from a supermarket value pack, including the plastic tub other peoples dessert had clearly been frozen and defrosted more than once as a result of this, we have tried other places and cannot see ourselves revisiting croma for a long time a great pity because the decor, service and food have been very good in the past

I'm never going back to this place. I went there with my some family and friends, and we were all enjoying our food until my brother found a small stone in his dish. We inspected it and there was no doubting that it was a stone, the kind of which you may find in the ground or annoying you at the bottom of your shoe. About 15mm long. I pointed it out to the manager/owner fellow, expecting some kind of apologetic bemusement or at least some acknowledgement of the stone-like properties of the offending article. Instead, he proceeded to explain to me that the stone in question was in the dish because of its marvelous perfumed qualities to bring added flavour to the food. He could tell I wasn't totally convinced and said that he would grab some of the raw ingredient from the kitchen to show me. 5 minutes later he appeared with a little tray with broken up cassia sticks, and began to speak about them and their flavour enhancing properties (but he hadn't brought the stone back with him for some reason). I hate being treated like an idiot, and told him that what he was showing me bore no relation to what my brother found in his dish. I even congratulated the quality of all the other food, saying that it wasn't such a big deal about the stone, but that it was definitely a stone and not something else. He then told me that obviously I know everything about the ingredients, so there was no need for him to be there, and marched off in the direction of the kitchen. I didn't eat another bite of my meal, and neither did anyone else at the table. To be treated with so much disdain is not something I look for when I go out for a meal, so I will be giving Sangam a wide berth from now on. Go to The original Third Eye instead, the food is and always has been much better and they respect their customers.

Always top quality here. I am a big curry nut and Third Eye is easily the most consistently brilliant restaurant I've ever visited. The food is incredibly tasty and varied between dishes, none of the nondescript soupy slop that can sometimes be served in Rusholme. The service is always friendly and accommodating, and the price is almost laughably cheap (My wife and I regularly go there and eat for under £30 inc drinks). Only negatives are the size of the venue, which sometimes means you're squeezed around a table like a sardine, and the amount of time that you're given to eat your meal, as they like to turn the tables around quite frequently. However these are just compromises to keep the price down. If you're a fan of food over all else, then third eye is the place to go to. Be adventurous with you're choices too.

great place which has changed over the last ten years to offer a wider range than it used to very good food and reasonable prices we have been several times and always enjoyed it. it's best to walk as beech rd parking is pretty bad at busy times

Great to see Robert Owen Brown back in town and doing what he does best. The Lancashire hot pot was comfort food with a capital C while the fish and chips were crisp, tasty and generously portioned. For dessert I was drawn to the eccles cake with butterscotch sauce and was not disappointed. The Angel was quiet on our weekday early afternoon visit but I can see it getting very busy most of the time.

It was the best curry for a long while, highly recommended, beats any on the curry mile!
