Cafe Istanbul – Manchester City CentreI have had again an impressive meal I was extremely impressed with the fish display. I have also Met the chef albo which has cooked me a delicious Pasta ribbons Papadele with sea food from the display. Simply outstanding. I will be back soon.
Sul Lago – OldhamIt was my first time in that restaurant. Nice place, fantastic food, great service but... too high prices. In my opinion the interior is too bright.
Simla Inn Tandoori Restaurant – RoytonMy husband and I visited one Thursday early evening (approx 5pm). We were rather surprised to be told even at this time we were lucky to be able to get a table for 5.30pm when food service began. The restaurant is quite long and narrow with Victorian tiling throughout. After seeing the prices, we decided to stick to main courses only - I chose Goosnargh duck with a mulled port wine sauce (£16.95), as recommended by the waitress. The duck was pan-fried beautifully but was ruined by the over-use of seasoning/spices (mainly cloves) in the sauce. My husband opted for the Sirloin steak with chips (£14.95) which he said was very good. Overall, the meal was ok but rather overpriced for what it was - you're probably paying extra for the nice surroundings! I believe better food is available elsewhere for the same money or less.
Mr Thomas’s Chop House – Manchester City CentreA great take away and restaurant. Staff are friendly and the service is great. Every meal I have had, both take aways and in the restaurant, has always been excellent. I would definitely recommend the Buraq to anyone
Buraq – WiganImpressive menu offering a wide selection of vegetarian breakfasts, snacks, and main meals. An excellent choice of drinks is also available. An effort is also made to cater for special dietry requirements (there are different types of milk, for instance). The decor is bright, but without the irritating music that so often goes with it. Service is efficient and pleasant. A long overdue and worthwhile vegetarian venue for the City centre.
Oklahoma Cafe + Gift Shop – Northern QuarterLoved the food, didn't like the fact that they didn't have toilets (!!!) and didn't give you real cutlery for the salads... But the food is definitely good... go for it but use the restrooms first elsewhere!
Katsouris – Manchester City CentreTook the family for a lovely meal on Monday evening, quite busy for a Monday, nice pleasant atmosphere with great service, Most importantly the 'nosh' was 'top dollar' highly recommended with no complaint whatsoever. Had soup, ribs, a little dim sum, duck and pancakes a few main courses more than enough for everyone, 120 quid with drinks for 6 adults.
Little Yang Sing – Manchester City CentreThis was my first visit to this restaurant and I? definitely going to become a regular.. by far the best curry ive had in a long time and myself and my husband go out every week for a curry.. Previously my favourite was the Indian ocean in Ashton.. Didn? think anywhere could beat Indian Ocean but EastzEast has....best tasting curry in Lancashire!!!
East z East – Manchester City CentreTypical place to take your Mum on either her birthday or Mothers Day. First Class service and very reasonable. Just wish they'd lay on the home-made leek soup more often as it is to die for. Exceptionally very friendly staff who never keep you waiting for more than five minutes - apart from queuing at the bar for drinks. But you get used to the Owls eventually. Decent food at decent prices. Highly recommended. The Owls is that extra pillow on a Sunday that gets you out of bed... this from a poor eater!
The Owls At Standish – WiganPossibly the Best Restaurant in Stockport taking into account quality, service and value for money. The food is fresh and full of Mediterranean flavour, from a simple salad or Chicken Kebab to the Sea Food and Meze, you won't be disappointed. The bowl of Olives served as appetizer sets the tone. OUTSTANDING... this Restaurant deserves to be on everyone? short list for a meal out.
Rozafa Taverna – StockportThe food here is very good, you won't find better. The restaurant is very clean and modern, obviously they are trying to be a cut above the ?urry-house?and they succeed. Service is okay however the staff are a little cold, not unfriendly, but a smile now and then wouldn't go amiss. Prices are average but you get more for your money here, food great, restaurant new & clean, décor very good. You won? be disappointed.
Bower Fold Spice – StalybridgeVisited the Siam Village on Valentines Day. The set menu was FANTASTIC. With a wide selection of starters, amazing Thai soup and variety of tasty main courses, this really is a great restaurant. Try the Singha beer and the banana fritter. Get there, have some...
Siam Village Restaurant – StockportA hidden gem in Bolton. Fantastic authentic thai food in great surroundings
Nam Ploy – BoltonTried most of Manchester? 'so called best' then tried Alberts Shed.....THE ABSOLUTE BEST - And the only one I would return to.
Alberts Shed – Manchester City CentreFantastic little find in Leigh - friendly atmosphere, hearty food and it always feels like we are coming home to a warm welcome when we go there.
Bella Cafe Bistro – WiganI come from Malta and visit Manchester regularly to watch Man Utd games. A visit to Manchester is not complete without a visit to Puccini, Michael, his brother and other staff members have now become friends of ours, the food and atmosphere is fantastic. and its a place I always recommend to friends. Thanks to all of you at Puccini
Puccini Pizzeria – SwintonI went to panama hattys last month, I found the bar area lovely and I could have a cigarette while we waited for our table, I had a cosmopolitan cocktail, which they don? have on the menu, but the superb barman made it for me, and for 4.95 was amazing. When we went our table we waited then ordered we had a lovely brie mushroom starter and side orders, my boyfriend had a steak and side orders, I had a chicken papaya salad which sounded amazing, when I received it I tasted CORIANDER!! yuk told the waitress and she returned it and took it of the bill. All in all we had a brill evening just remember if you are allergic or don? like specific tastes tell them and they wont use them in the dish. Booked in for this Saturday 30/03 and I wont be having salad will have the fajitasŠenjoy
