I have been coming to Velvet for quite some time and love it here. You can relax and be served with a smile. The food is lovely and very reasonable. I have now been to the new swank bar situated above the restaurant it is well worth a look.

Again excellent tucker! ... Not been here for a while so it was a real treat to sample some of the best Chinese food on offer around in the UK! 10/10

Great service: Half of the table requested variations or customisations of existing dishes on the menu (mine for example was an extra extra hot Americana pizza), which were delivered with perfection. The ambience is friendly and conducive to good conversation and the wine is reasonably priced and of a high standard. Coupled with a 30 second walk to the quay front, there is a nice evening walk if you need it after an over-indulgent dinner.

Easily one of the best Indian restaurants in Manchester. Forget Rusholme, where all the food looks and tastes the same, Moon offers authentic Indian cuisine for a modest price. Okay, the decor may be a little dated, stuck in the 70's but for a curry you can't beat it

friendly staff the food was very good one of the best meals i have had in a long time, the atmosphere is relaxed. The massive salt water aquarium is a nice touch.

We went for a friends birthday and although there was 20 of us all the food came out at the same time and all of it was yummy! Nothing was too much for the waiting staff. Its not often you can find a restaurant of that calibre that can cope with such large parties. The restaurant was full and the bar buzzing so we stayed all night. Thoroughly enjoyed it will definitely recommend it to everyone and will definitely be going back.

The new Nawab opened up in Oldham road recently my mate and I walked in. And the waiter had such a good smile on his face. And they were very busy and we didn? book the table. The waiter called faz gave us a table and he was really good looking... So girls don? forget to go top service and top food....

One of the best Chinese restaurants I have been to, delicious dishes, friendly staff and warm and lovely atmosphere overall.

I have now been twice to this restaurant and found it to be most enjoyable. It is not a fast food place and the Greek style of 'why rush' is pleasantly in evidence. We had the mezze. It is realistically priced for the diverse volume and tastes that you get. The quality is good. I had beer and this was in good condition. The wine was if slightly pricey was complimentary to the meal. All told a good night out and I don? think you would be disappointed.

I have been going to the GG for over 5 years and it is still one of the best "Indians" in and around Manchester. No hesitation to recommend it
