Andiamo was recommended to us by a friend and it lived up to his praise. Staff can? do enough and the chef is the owner so his reputation is on your plate.

Andiamo – WesthoughtonWould definitely recommend a visit, food was fantastic (retro dishes with a slight twist - try the red mullet and chorizo fishcake), staff were very friendly and welcoming, we will be back soon..
Grand Pacific restaurant and bar – Manchester City CentreWent to Panama Hattys on the 4th August, my wife, 5 year old daughter, and I. Great food, great service, great place. Staff are so friendly, the Jambalaya was excellent. Will go again soon.
Panama Hattys – Manchester City CentreAsian Fusion quickly became our favourite curry house when we discovered it early on this year. the decor is a bit odd (modern but clinging on to curry house table cloths), poppadom and pickle tray are excellent if you can't manage a starter. naan bread are perfectly fluffy and charred. we haven't had a bad dish there yet, in fact I'm just about to book a table for tonight!
Asian Fusion – ChorltonWent last night- even on a rainy Tuesday night the place was full, a testimony to the quality of the restaurant. Despite the business of the place, service was efficient and warm. Every course was excellent, and if you're going to indulge in dessert you must have the warm chocolate pot. The best dining out experience I've had in a long time.
Alberts Shed – Manchester City CentreThis is our favourite Italian restaurant, if only for the tomato garlic bread. We've sampled most of their dishes, and each as been spot on. Friendly greeting and friendly service
Ciao Napoli – BoltonHad an amazing birthday party, staff were impeccable, food was amazing, especially the desserts.
Harvey Nichols Second Floor Restaurant – Manchester City CentreHaving discovered this restaurant through this site I was amazed how accurate the reviews were. I took my partner early on Saturday evening and the whole experience was magical from start to finish - comfortable seating, amazing decor, fantastic ambience attentive but not intrusive service and of course the food and wine were absolutely wonderful. I shall certainly be returning but apart from this review I think I'll keep the place secret.
Panama Hattys – Manchester City CentreThe food here is absolutely fabulous. I have travelled and worked in the Middle East and the food is exactly the same as you get there. The staff work very hard and are so nice to all the customers. The owner should be very proud of his business. I recommend it very highly
Petra – RusholmeThe best restaurant in Manchester
Sapporo Teppanyaki Manchester – Manchester City CentreI had my first date there Had my wedding reception there, and every year have a meal for our anniversary. The food is so good the building is beautiful a place for a romantic meal or special occasion. I don? believe there is a better place and I have been to a lot of restaurants.
I took my partner for a meal on Friday night having heard good feedback on Jem & I. I was not to be let down... On arriving the hospitality shown was excellent, full descriptions on all food and helpful with wine choice. Starters were wonderful, mains exceptional and the wine of the week excellent. Will definitely go back to Jem & I to experience again.
Jem and I Bar and Grill – DidsburyLast Saturday I visited stock. I must say I was missing that level of service from a long time in Manchester. We arrived ten mins late and they had a queue of people waiting for tables as it was absolutely packed. The front of the house staff was very helpful we were seated in bar area where given the menu and drinks and were told specials of the day. It did not feel like we waited 20 mins for table. And the food was excellent. Through out the dinner service was distinctive. Without any doubt this is best place to dine in Manchester.
Stock Restaurant – Manchester City CentreIt's so great having restaurant within walking distance, so we both can drink while we're eating. And it's not just because of this that it's worth recommending - really really great food, very British cuisine - If they have anything with black pudding on the menu - order it, you won't be disappointed. Excellent wine menus with a good range available by the glass. Their puddings are some of the best I've tasted (and I do like my pudding). If I have any criticisms it's that the menu is constantly changing, which is usually a good thing, but my favourite starter and liquid centre chocolate pudding both disappeared, but I've had something equally good in both instances. Also, it's not a place to go if you really hate Jazz, and I really really do hate it. It's not just Tuesday's when it's Jazz night, they do tend to play it constantly the rest of the time. For all I can tell, it might as well be the same 'tune' on endless loop. Enough ranting - despite this, and if you knew me, you'd realise how big a concession this is to me - I still go regularly and have a great time. The fixed price menus are always good value and especially the early doors offer. The kids menus are varied and a good price at around £4 including drink and ice-cream AND an activity pack (Should be compulsory in restaurants). Finally, it's completely non-smoking!
Smiths Restaurant – EcclesWe went to New Emperor for a pre theatre meal, the food was great, we will certainly go again. Only problem was that it was so busy that this reflected in the service which would probably been okay if we were not restricted by the fact that we had tickets for a show. We were constantly looking at the time wishing they would hurry up with the food. Still the food was very enjoyable when it came and we made the show with minutes to spare. This is one of the best Chinese Restaurants in city centre in my opinion, well worth a visit.
New Emperor – Manchester City CentreThis really is a lovely pub and the food is great, pub food is mostly plastic type pre done and warmed up style but here the food is fresh and home made, the apple pie with pouring cream is lovely and it's not badly priced for the food you get... really good...we go often a very relaxed atmosphere
Black Dog Inn – BoltonWe went to the Laughing Buddha for a meal after reading the good reviews. I certainly wasn't disappointed. The restaurant was a little quiet midweek which is a shame because this place ought to be full every night. This is simply great food. We had the buffet meal for two. it was all delicious. I have never had prawn toast this good, the main dishes were exceptionally good but by the time these were served we already content. We will be going here again for sure.
Laughing Buddha – DidsburyThird time we have dined here and again not disappointed at all. Food tasted great and the service was great too. Suggest people look at the offer to eat early on stated evenings as it works out very inexpensive for a great meal.
