The best restaurant in Rusholme by far. Vegetarians are well catered for. The variety of dishes not seen elsewhere is outstanding. Dosas are a must try, the Palak Kofta is a delicious main course.

Punjab Tandoori – RusholmeThe bistro is one off the best restaurants I have ever had the pleasure of eating in. No wonder it is winning award after award
Blacksticks Restaurant – EcclesI really enjoyed the atmosphere at this restaurant and the staff were really courteous. The tables are well spaced out so you feel like you are all alone, so romance can blossom. The food is really tasty and you get plenty of it.....mmm I now go back all the time for special occasions!
Cinnamon Indian Cuisine – WiganOk restaurant - nothing exciting
Chiquito Restaurant and Bar – Salford QuaysTop food, top service, I give 10/10
Desi Lounge – FailsworthAwesome food and awesome service! Can't get enough of it - recommend a visit by every one!
Pacific – Manchester City CentreA slightly bizarre little place - it is basically a converted terrace. Mainly seems to be used as a takeaway, but you can sit down amongst the reggae if you wish. Pretty rough and ready, but decent food at very modest prices.
M and M’s Caribbean Spice – Hulmeok, nothing special
Kushoom Koly – StockportSorry to repeat myself, but we have eaten here again several times since my last and I have to repeat that this joint is serving the best food in the curry mile.
Punjab Tandoori – RusholmeVisited the Spice last month enjoyed it so much that we are going to eat there again this Bank Holiday weekend. Smoke free atmosphere, professional staff, solid traditional curry dishes and accompaniments. Worth a try for serious foodies.
Bower Fold Spice – StalybridgeThis family-run business offers very fresh food, imaginative menus and thoughtful polite service at low cost - particularly early evening Mon- Friday - and has just re-launched itself with a cool subtle look. Easy parking next-door and easy to find at the Tescos roundabout, it is so much better than Manchester's "Curry Mile".
Indian Ocean – OldhamMy local curry house for 12 years now and I'm still not bored. Good tasty food that is slightly more Bengali in style (rather than Brit-Asian) than competitors. Child and Grandma friendly early, but loud and lively late in the evening. Consistently good food and friendly service. Cannot praise this eatery enough.
Kushoom Koly – StockportThe best! I was a vegetarian before I discovered the Shami kebabs. Abdul's turned me!! Forever grateful....
Abduls Fast Food Restaurant – Manchester City CentreI was inspired to visit by a review that described the food as "bonsai" in style - i.e. perfect miniatures. I was delighted by the menu that you can order many (or few) dishes that you like to selfishly devour or share amongst you. It may be difficult to share the "mini cheese-burger" though (two mouthfuls - tops). There seem to be no obvious starters or main courses inviting a comparison to multi-nation tapas (pan-Asian, Mancunian and American but bigger than a tapas dish). It means that you invariably have space for a dessert (and what a wonderful choice of "bonsai" desserts!). The wine list is miniscule and unadventurous; the champagne collection is pretentious, but the cocktails are extremely impressive. You can just go and drink and pose without eating. The ambience is a combination of "sex in the city" and "footballers' wives". I liked it - a lot.
Panacea – Manchester City CentreI loved rigalettos. I think that they do a great lasagne!
Rigalettos – WiganAbsolutely first class in every respect! The selection of their own wines imported from Spain was wonderful and we were offered 5 to sample to help select a bottle. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone and will most definitely be returning!
Evuna Deansgate – Manchester City CentreConsistency is the key to Croma... I have eaten there more than 20 times - and never had a bad meal. Very reasonably priced, superb pizzas (with fantastic 'specials') and good service. Good luck with your new ventures!
Croma – Manchester City CentreGood, cheap eats in a pleasant atmosphere in Fallowfield. Food not exceptional, but very decent. Also open until 12am most nights, so a good alternative to take-away food on your way home....
