Excellent restaurant, it is small but this makes it 'cosy'. Food is excellent, good choice of 'Specials'.

La Piazza – CheadleExcellent food, either your usual Italian pizza pasta or some excellent Italian meals that you wouldn't expect. Very friendly and helpful staff and great atmosphere. Small and friendly restaurant. Be warned though, no smoking restaurant!!!
Table 10 – SaleOne of the best
Dimitri’s Tapas Bar Taverna – Manchester City CentreOne of those restaurants which you can return to time and time again knowing that the same high standards will be maintained
Deccan Restaurant – UrmstonThis is a lovely little restaurant, with friendly staff and a delicious menu.... the fish dishes are particularly good
Phothong Thai Restaurant – Ashton Under LyneI went there with a group of people and it was simply fantastic. We were 8 and the staff couldn't have been more patient and nice. Food was simply to die for. Seafood soup (with prawns and mussels) was simply spectacular. The prawn crackers that floated through our tables all along were served with a dip that was surprisingly addictive (we kept asking the waiter for more!). Veggies with rice noodles took a bit longer to arrive but were worth the wait. Fish was very aromatic but a bit overpriced. In general a wonderful dining experience. One thing could be improved: the selection of wines.
Siam Orchid – Manchester City CentreReally enjoyed the whole experience.
Jem and I Bar and Grill – DidsburyI took my father to this restaurant when he was recovering from an operation. The staff could not have been more accommodating an excellent range of specials and the staff took time to recommend some superb dishes. Ambience is great not to busy etc. Wonderful wine selection a must for all great food lovers!!!!
Smiths Restaurant – EcclesTerrific restaurant in the heart of china town - great service and even better food - not your traditional Chinese restaurant eaten both Chinese and Thai and head there every time I? in need of a Asian food fix
Pacific – Manchester City CentreSuch friendly and helpful staff. They have a great sense of humour. If you like hot food, ask them to make you a green chilli bhaji (mushroom than onion bhaji style)
Indian Ocean – Ashton Under Lyneterrific spot to go for a pizza - absolutely the best pizza in town - try the tuna pizza (with no cheese) for you health freaks its gorgeous!!
Croma – Manchester City CentreLast week was my first visit to Isinglass and it will not be the last. I had the corn beef hash as the starter (awesome) followed by grilled organic chicken in honey and mustard glaze with chunky chips. This is the first time I have been able to taste chicken and not some watery white meat at a restaurant, the food and taste is just excellent. Simple local food cooked well, I cannot recommend it highly enough. The decor of the restaurant is relaxed, the tunes are cool chill out and will not offend people over 50 (like my mum and dad) We arrived at 7pm on a cold Friday evening, when we left at 9pm, the place was full of people of all ages but linked by a common theme. This is a place for people who like real local food and food with real taste. I cannot recommend this highly enough!
Isinglass – UrmstonWhat a great place! Really warm, ambient atmosphere in the bar, and the restaurant was intimate and relaxed. Dim lights made it really romantic for my date and I, but there was plenty going on to still make it buzzy. The food was pleasantly surprising, as I am a Veggie and there was a really good selection for me. My date is a big carnivore! And he was more than happy with his meal too. We would definitely go back, and they now also do food in the bar (so the nice bloke who saw us out told us!)
Hale Wine Bar – HaleAfter leaving the UK some 18 years ago to live in Southern Spain, never returning home during this time, I really missed good old fashioned Indian food. On arrival at Manchester I was recommended by family to try the Sangam - a recommendation worth every mouthful - I returned to Spain with my taste buds revived....Thank you Sangam 2.
Sangam 2 – DidsburyGreat atmosphere and surroundings. Ideal as a stop off late afternoon or as a place to dine in the evening. Food was very good. Only criticism was the ' Italian ' bread with the antipasto.Seemed more like a couple of slices from a sliced loaf. Otherwise , a great visit.
Croma – Manchester City CentreAlways a good meal here. Lucky to go quite regularly and whilst it's out of town and away from the pubs it's a good stop off between Oldham and Saddleworth serving the most authentic Indian food away from the curry mile in Manchester. The staff are really friendly too and as dishy as the food!!
Sagor Tandoori – OldhamI have to recommend the full breakfast in here, it is delicious! For me it is the quality of the sausage which completes this traditional English dish, and this place really got it spot on. Saints and Scholars is a great place to go on a Sunday, relaxing ambience combined with a very deep European, reassuring vibe. Music was good, the staff very professional as well as beautiful. It's a true reflection of what Didsbury stands for, and is the perfect place to have a relaxing afternoon.
Saints Bar and Kitchen – DidsburyA good venue for a varied group of people, as they serve everything from burgers to squid! The specials always seem to be very "special". My only gripe is the lack of decent non smoking area.
