Lovely atmosphere, service great, tables and portions could do with being a bit bigger.

Sorella Restaurant – OldhamWe have been 3 times since the recent changes and conclude that the place has deteriorated. The menu is more limited with few of the old specials (pheasant, duck, fish). We found the dark decoration (including ceiling!) oppressive. The food and service are good but why are we exposed to loud piped music? The result is that conversing diners must be louder and the whole becomes intolerable. After 3 disappointments we will transfer to the competition.
The Windmill Parbold – WiganFriendly staff both meals very good
The Rising Moon – HydeWe eat here as a family often. The food and service is always a 10/10. There is always a warm friendly atmosphere.
La Sentidos Loca – WiganAmazing food , staff were so polite and beautiful setting
Sorella Restaurant – OldhamDecent food, decent pint
Waggon and Horses – StalybridgeLovely meal staff were lovely and friendly mario is so funny and came to talk to us several times lovely man will definitely be doing again
Mario’s Pizzeria Ristorante – RochdaleA was a lovely afternoon out. We ate, drank and were merry. Our waitress Ari was fantastic, she looked after us very well. It was great value for money.
Panama Hattys Grill – PrestwichBrilliant food as always
The Art of Tea – DidsburyThe food was lovely but I was disappointed with the atmosphere as we were sat in the back extension, away from the beautiful interior with mood lighting and music, on a table positioned far too close and in between other diners. I made a special request to be sat in a more romantic spot for our wedding anniversary before our arrival so I was hoping for better than this. “Why didn’t you say anything?” you might be thinking! Because that’s not me and doing anything like that is something I struggle with. So we sat there quite unhappy that my requests weren’t met, or possibly not even read at all! We ate quickly, had no dessert, no champagne (which we were likely to do if sat in a more comfortable spot), and moved on to enjoy our evening elsewhere.
Sorella Restaurant – OldhamNice atmosphere ,food good and good service Will be back
Waggon and Horses – StalybridgeI love going here, I go at least once a month with my son for a catch up. The staff and service is exceptional, we always get such a great welcome. The menu choices are very wide and varied. This means that we never get bored of what to eat and there is no 'one' go to thing. Personal favourite of mine is the chefs special, and the cold starter mezze, as for my son, too many to list
Anatolian Grill – PrestwichLovely new decor and delicious food. However a couple of errors spoiled the experience: wrong wine served and the vegetarian in our group, who explicitly asked for a vegetable curry was served chicken curry! This was remedied and the correct curry arrived but she had to sit there while the others ate. A couple of desserts were not available which meant a limited choice, so we skipped it and walked down the road for an ice cream at the Co op! I thought we would receive some recompense for this, but staff didn’t seem unduly bothered. Shame as I will think twice before returning.
The Windmill Parbold – WiganA fantastic place that I like to return to. The ladies serving on Wednesday 28.5 were just amazing. Fantastic service, friendly and approachable. Been great with dietary requirement and good allergy. Just recommend to all
