Very Very good food, very very good drinks though not cheap, they serve negroni's (Italian aperatife) Very stylish interior outstanding efficient professional and very friendly service excellent atmosphere, a great mix of contemporary and traditional Italian cuisine and bar culture transplanted in to Manchester.

the food wasn't bad but the staff are very polite and kind. the tables are a bit cramped.

Making eating Chinese food a special occasion. The Yang Sing is one of the finest in Manchester.

Within Manchester's old Stock Exchange you'll find one of the best Italian restaurants in town. My friend and I were quickly shown to our seat in one of the many booths which lined the sides of the large market floor. The menu has a range of appetizers, pasta dishes (as starters or main courses for £2 more) and main dishes. With pasta dishes ranging from £5 upwards, we both took a different dish to start off the meal. Both of which were delightful but incredibly filling for starters. I had ordered the fillet in a hollandaise sauce (I think) which arrived cooked perfectly and very tender. Although after my starter I barely managed to finish the fillet and hardly touched my accompanying vegetables. I think Stock instantly became one of my favourite restaurants in Manchester.

Waht this place makes up for in good beers it lacks in atmosphere, the place is full od pretensious, student types who think they are better everyone else. A definite need for some atmosphere here!! But the Beers is great

the food is outstanding, but like everything in life you have to be willing to pay for what you want, it sure aint cheap but it sure is worth it

This is a top place to eat and you will come out bloated, this is the way it should be!!

It does not get better then this, in terms of atmosphere this is second to none and certainly the most authentic place to eat for chinese food

This is with out doubt one of the best bars in Manchester, the beer may not be cheap but its the best europe has to offer. And the place is so chilled and relaxed, the old place has a great sense of humour too

After a disastrous experience at another chain of Italian restaurants, this was a pleasant surprise. The food was delicious and the service very prompt so we were not rushing to get to the theatre. Highly recommended.

The best Italian Food in the Stockport area. The staff, service and atmosphere is excellent and definately well worth a visit, although I suggest you book in advance.

A great restaurant right in the middle of Cheadle Hulme. Great after a night out. The food is absolutely fantastic - probably one of the best indian restaurants I have ever eaten in.

I live dangerously close to this place. Dangerous because I could eat here every night! It really is better than anywhere I've tried in Rusholme, and trust me, I've tried most. And if you dont want a "Sit Down Dokers" there's a Takeaway next door that is equally incredible! The only downside is that I dont think they do deliveries! Recommended dishes Starter: Prawn Puri (best ever) Main: Fish Bahji

I love the south indian cuisine and the fact that it's a bit different to all the other curry houses. The staff are nice and friendly and you're not overwhelmed with annoying political posters for stupid rallies. [e.g. stop the war etc etc] . A tasty non-political curry!!

Fancy a full fry up with a bottle of Chablis on a Sunday morning? You can at Saints & Scholars. A group of us rolled up at lunchtime on a Sunday birthday hangovers intact, ordered a full english with Chablis & Beaujolais for the red wine drinkers and stayed for the afternoon. The staff were friendly and joined in with the birthday celebrations. The fry-up was the best this side of Manchester.

The best place in South Manchester to meet friends for an early meal, catch up and fill up!!! The service is friendly and efficient, the menu is constantly changing and delicious and the wine choice is excellent.
