Always excellent food and service

Early Friday evening. Food was excellent and staff lovely and attentive. Entertainment very good but a little loud for me. However still one of my favourite places to eat out.

I recently dined here and I was extremely impressed in every way. The beautiful interior created a warm ambiance, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was amazing—full of flavor and authenticity—making it a true highlight of the experience. The service was excellent, and the value for money was outstanding. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning soon!

We had lunch here with friends. The restaurant is attractive and the food was excellent. We have booked it for a Golden Wedding lunch in July. It was about £60 for two of for starters, main course and coffee, which is too expensive for us to eat there regularly, but for a special meal it is very good.

Lovely service. Food is great. No problems changing tables due to a flickering light and one of us has epilepsy.

Food was very poor with little to no taste. Meals came out at different times having to wait for us all to eat at the same time.

A lovely relaxed lunch, friendly attentive staff, good menu choice.

We stumbled on the Fat Loaf many months ago and have eaten there many times. It is always a great night and the friends we have taken there have all agreed. The food is really good - something a bit different, but not over-complicated and always fresh and tasty. The staff are amazing with that perfect blend of friendliness and professionalism. Would definitely recommend to anyone who likes good food and wine. (Don't be put off by the outside appearance which is very simple and understated). Looking forward to our next visit.
