Always a pleasure to visit the Harbour Lights! Staff are very friendly and the service is first class. Great friendly atmosphere with great food on offer. Lots to choose from the menu. Food is always lovely and piping hot and served quickly. Highly recommended. Dog friendly pub too!

We had a lovely Sunday Lunch in the Harbour Lights Sunday 8th. I had the Belly Pork which melted in your mouth. My husband had the feather blade of beef which was so tender. The yorkshires were great, the veg excellent and extra gravy. Would highly recommend for Sunday Lunch. The service was quick and all the staff are friendly can’t do enough for you

We booked a Sunday lunch for four and were blown away! The set menu had a fantastic variety of options to suit everyone’s tastes. Each of our three courses arrived promptly and was absolutely delicious. The quality and portion sizes are incredible for the price. To top it off, the staff were so friendly and helpful. I honestly couldn’t recommend Harbour Lights more!!!

Visit for family birthday get together and the food was great, service was friendly and spot on. Busy for a Saturday lunchtime so glad we booked. Cannot fault a thing. We'll be back ...maybe tomahawk steaks next time ;)

Another delicious meal at this beautiful friendly restaurant. You are spoilt for choice with the variety of meals and very generous portions. The staff are very attentive and friendly and service is quick (obviously depending on how busy they are). I always book just to make sure I get a table. I highly recommend this venue.

Lovely food and great service. The black pudding and belly pork starter was amazing. Lovely fresh fish. The menu is excellent, as is the vegan and vegetarian one. I asked for my leek sauce without bacon and that wasn't a problem. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

My brother was visiting for the day & The Harbour Lights was my first choice. Food was absolutely delicious with very good portions. Staff very friendly & it's a lovely place to enjoy a meal. Highly recommend The Harbour Lights.

Last night we visited the Harbour Lights for their steak night, which we have been meaning to try. They do a deal for 3 steaks with trimmings, a glass of wine or a pint for £35. For a supplement of £7 per meal you can upgrade to a t-bone or there’s a tomahawk option. They also offer their usual menu and specials. We decided on the t-bone. Because we having large cuts, we decided to skip starters and go straight to mains. We ordered onion rings and peppercorn sauce as extras. When the food arrived it looked like a food challenge! The steaks were huge and we had opted for potatoes so they arrived with mushrooms, tomatoes, a bowl of potatoes salad and slaw, and a large bowl of veg to share. The potion of onion rings was enormous and they were like bicycle wheels! The steaks were perfectly cooked, caramelised on the outside and pink and juicy inside. Nicely seasoned without being over salted. The potatoes were perfect, nicely boiled so they were fluffy inside, although I couldn’t manage mine. Everything was perfect. My only ‘criticism’ is that portions are so big, there’s no hope of desert! Between us we had one pint of lager and two glasses of wine. The bill came to around £57 which was amazing value. This pub is always warm and welcoming and the staff are brilliant. Nothing is too much bother and they advise well on food when asked. We have had Sunday lunch regularly, Saturday visits, weeknight impromptu meals and steak night and this place is consistently excellent. We feel comfortable in the friendly atmosphere and have never had a meal that wasn’t excellent. I highly recommend the Harbour Lights for a warm welcome and great food.
