We stumbled upon this lovely little pub on our journey to the lakes and had a wonderful lunch stop there. The food is delicious and home cooked. All the staff are welcoming and attentive . We enjoyed our lunch so much on the Thursday that we decided to book a table and go back for Sunday roast, we were not dissapointed! The beef was so tender as was the lamb. Highly recommend this little gem

Easily the best grub around the area, and the traditional pub itself and original features make it an all round spectacular experience. The staff were just as friendly as ever.
