Very welcoming, and a great value pre-theatre menu (though we only had room for half a pud each after the first two courses). Friendly and efficient service, and plenty of time for coffee before the show. Will return!

Horse and Farrier – PenrithWe stumbled upon this lovely little pub on our journey to the lakes and had a wonderful lunch stop there. The food is delicious and home cooked. All the staff are welcoming and attentive . We enjoyed our lunch so much on the Thursday that we decided to book a table and go back for Sunday roast, we were not dissapointed! The beef was so tender as was the lamb. Highly recommend this little gem
