Yesterday, two friends and I got together to celebrate a 50th birthday at Bread and Butter. Myself and Sarah had the Salt and Pepper Board — it was absolutely exceptional! Our other friend had the Breakfast Bagel and said it was excellent. The service was as great as ever. Thanks again to the team — we’ll definitely be back soon!

1st time for a Sunday roast and it was faultless. Family were visiting from Alderley Edge so it was good to show them the Penwortham strip, and thankfully BnB didn't disappoint. Probably best roast I've had in a long time. Great presentation and the gravy and red cabbage was awesome

We had a tapas table for 4 excellent food which was nice n hot, well presented our friends first time and they loved it. Lovely Malbec red wine …. Delicious! Nice service. Thank you … we will be back !

Sunday breakfast at Bread & Butter is a real treat and always excellent. Top class ingredients which are cooked and presented to a very high standard. My favourite place for breakfast locally. Always busy so be sure to book if you want to get a table. The lunch menu is also top class.

Myself and my 4 friends came on Sunday morning for brunch and had a brilliant time. We didn’t make it easy for the servers by ordering 11 drinks between us but they all coped brilliantly. The avocado toasts and the pancakes we ordered were fresh, flavoursome and super tasty! Great service, excellent food and a cute, cosy atmosphere :)

Lovely as always friendly staff. Prompt and efficient service. We had prawns and a BLT really nice the salad with the prawns was superb perfectly seasoned and dressed We shared a cheeky Sticky Toffee Pud for dessert -delicious Very good thanks

Excellent venue all quality ingredients and excellent staff just needs a sign at the traffic lights as many people don’t know it’s there that pass all they see is ash bridge nursery

We went the week before sat down and the girl asked if we had booked so we left and booked for the Sunday the 28th when we got there the staff were so nice we had a breakfast and it was excellent well worth the week wait great food great service and a great pot of tea we will definitely be back. We had brunch on Sunday at Maxys. Food was its usual high standard. I had the tuna jacket potato which was huge and my husband had the pantry breakfast. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. We were very impressed and going back again this week. Welcome back Maxys, you’ve been missed!
