Met family here for brunch. Couldn’t fault a thing. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly and the food was fab. Will definitely be calling again

We regularly visit here and the service-atmosphere and food is always great.So much so that my friend and I booked for 16 Dec over a month or more ago, knowing it would get busy because of the time of year. I had no communication prior to this, so was rather surprised to be told on being seated that the table had to be vacated by 1.15pm ( we booked for 12pm) not a lot of time when you want a catch up with a friend,but we reluctantly agreed. The waitress was exceptionally busy so didn't take our order until 12.30pm and reiterated again that the table was only till 1.15pm.I intended to order a meal but was feeling pressurised/rushed so just ordered soup and a sandwich instead. We were then told again that we had to vacate at 1.15pm on bringing our drinks and again when the food arrived and again when ordering coffee. I appreciate that at this time of year that tables are booked out back to back,with it being Christmas. However we felt 1) the limited time to eat should have been mentioned when we booked, weeks ago, giving us the option to eat elsewhere if we wanted a leisurely lunch.2) That we really didn't need reminding 5 times that there were time restrictions on us. 3) We had no option but to order differently than we'd have done if we hadn't had those limits. Sadly, Bread n Butter this time youve left us disappointed at the Christmas lunch we thought we were going to have v the rushed lunch we received .

Outstanding as always. This is an excellent place for breakfast/brunch and l can highly recommend it. The food is always amazing. Very popular so booking is advisable.

We enjoyed a lovely Breakfast at Breaf and Butter. Nice fresh ingredients, lovely service and a nice environment. Very pleased.

Lovely place for a catch up with friends. Shame soup was cold but they soon sorted out for us. Nice atmosphere and airy place.

Brilliant service and a lovely meal, the staff really looked after us, food served quickly and hot. Highly recommended The Barn to people.

Met for a girls Christmas lunch at the bread and butter and the festive lunch was amazing! Beautifully cooked served and presented. Delicious flavours throughout. Would highly recommend. Lovely decor interior and service. Compliments to the chef! Outstanding on every occasion we have been! Thank you.

Fairly impromptu lunch with my son. It wasn’t too busy when we arrived. Service was great with Rob and staff very friendly and attentive. My son couldn’t decide what to have and there was no rush or hurry whatsoever. Drinks were delivered quickly and we didn’t have to wait long for food either. I had the Halloumi Burger and my son (eventually) opted for the Smashed Burger. Both were fabulous, really tasty and portion sizes just right. To top it off, my son decided it was his treat! Perfect.

Fantastic Christmas dinner

Had lunch on 10th December. I had an avocado and hallumi salad, my friend had prawn sandwiches with skin on fries. Everything was delicious and presented well. Service was extremely good and the general atmosphere felt lovely.

Maxy Farm is the best place to meet with friends and family for a catch up. Easy to book. The BESSST food but more importantly, always the friendliest welcome and service from Rob, Georgie and their Team. Great Menu. Fair pricing. Always a fab experience Thank you Team Maxy !!

Excellent breakfast menu, nothing too much trouble. Did not feel rushed and can recommend.
