Wow. First meal out since the start of lockdown, and we were not disappointed. The staff and procedures in place made the restaurant feel safe, but also welcoming and almost “normal” again. Ben(?) rang us earlier in the day to say that unfortunately they are running out of certain dishes, and so took our order in advance - truffle fries, pea and goats cheese risotto and a crispy pork belly. We were seated in our own little area, and the food was absolutely delicious!! We were also pleasantly surprised when the bill came - brilliant value for money. We come back every year for our anniversary, but I feel like we will be coming back for even more this year!

We had a lovely meal at the White Hart. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, and the food was delicious. The social distancing worked really well and it gave us the opportunity to have a long delayed celebration meal. Thank you

Visited with family on Saturday night - first time since lockdown. It was just what we all needed, great food choices, although they were using a reduced menu. Food was cooked really well and we all enjoyed quality produce. The staff were great, whilst observing the guidelines fully they behaved 'normally' which was very refreshing! Thank you

4th time at the White Hart, and all four of us have been served excellent and quality meals on each occassion. Highly recommended.

First pub lunch since lockdown. We chose to sit outside and I can say we were very impressed with how well organised everything was. We all felt very safe and the heaters outside made the experience very pleasant. The drinks and food were perfect and we will definitely be returning very soon.

Great meal good choices on menu and lovely Rioja! We had salmon and sea bass both very tasty and just the right size portions. Good efficient service too.

Lovely lunchtime meal on Saturday 4th January 2020 to celebrate my birthday. Very tasty food at a reasonable price. Good selection of real ales plus nice wine. Not too busy but pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff. Will definitely return.

Popped in for a quick lunch. Goats cheese, pesto and tomato toastie with soup. Very tasty in welcoming warm surroundings right by the eponymous bridge in Ironbridge.

Outstanding meal, great service. There are not many quality places to eat amazing food in the area but the White Hart is one of them. Thank you.

We use the White Hart a lot for our customer visits and for the first time we were not completely impressed with the experience. Things to note on this visit were : 1. Tough Steak - not edible 2. Medium Steak - extremely rare; blood on plate 3. Check-in after main course service omitted Waitress response to 1-3, above: ..."two free dessert courses." 4.Final account included all desserts [until reminded of issue] EXPERIENCE Food & Drink: Other than the quality and cooking of the steak the other items were excellent. Service: The waitress was very pleasant and polite. A check-in might have resolved the issues with the two steaks. Overall: Not the level of experience that we have been used to; compared to numerous, previous visits.

We had Sunday Lunch here, and it was very busy. We were in no rush, and because it was busy it was a long session. However everyone was delightful and the food was up to standard. As an ex hotelier and restaurateur myself I appreciate the difficulty this place must be to manage. It must be a nightmare guessing just how many people will turn up for lunch and drinks. We LOVE this place and it was our 4th visit for Sunday Luncheon....we shall certainly return!!!

The best meal we’ve had out in a long time. Excellent quality and fabulous, friendly service.

Birthday Meal ..... and to start a veloute of mushroom and truffle with sour dough. Followed by tandoori salmon with aioli and beef cheek with a sweet and sour sauce. Mains of crispy pork belly and teriyaki beef. Delicious. Definitely recommend a visit. Great value for money and the recommendation wine of the month was superb. Thanks for a great evening

We visited with friends for lunch on a busy bank holiday. Received a warm welcome, great service and good food. My husband particularly enjoyed the Rioja. The lunch menu was varied 3 of us had tapas and 1 the burger. All cooked well, good portions and full of flavour. We usually visit in the evening but will certainly come again during the daytime

Visited the White Hart on Saturday evening. All round very nice evening. The young lady that looked after us was lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Thanks all at The White Hart

We booked a table for 4 Saturday 17th August. The setting was excellent the restaurant lovely clean and laid out well The 2 waitresses were very attentive without being in your way 1 problem we found was the way we were dealt with by Josh the manager when I asked to clarify one of the dishes The food was very good but one of the dishes (the gnocchi dish) came out it was not what was expected again i say nothing wrong but not expected!! When it arrived there was broccoli stems and peppers which were not on the menu This is when we asked Josh to check the menu he did get a menu and stated that the items were the Caponata and that was how they did it. He reluctantly said that if we wanted it changed there would be a 25-30 minutes delay but then followed it up with well did you ask when we ordered in a very dismissive way We declined and were pretty cheesed off with his attitude Also more as a bit of constructive criticism I ordered the cheese and biscuits as a dessert which all sounded very good but was disappointed that the cheese came straight from the fridge and not at room temperature which as I understand is the correct way to serve and eat cheese We finished our evening down stairs in the bar and once again the staff were excellent To recap we had a good time and would return but would not want to be dealt with by Josh
