Food and service was absolutely fantastic. Portion sizes are more than adequate. We ordered one starter to share between two which was an excellent decision as the main meal was huge. Brilliant local pub/restaurant with an excellent atmosphere, will definitely return.

Harbour Lights – South ShieldsWe’ve been many times for lunch and have always enjoyed it , however my self and my husband both opted for mince and dumplings yesterday and we were both disappointed. The dumpling was dry and hard and had obviously been warmed up in the microwave . Really not great. Very disappointed. Service was great , the girls are lovely and very efficient.

We came on Friday as a party of 4 for steak night, and ended up as 6 as we met my cousin and her friend in there! As always, the food was delicious, the service great — all the staff are brilliant, but Claire goes above and beyond… there’s always a good laugh to be had with her!

Seafood chowder, haggis,neeps and patties followed by crannachan - traditional food delivered perfectly - we have already booked a return visit!

The evening started off with the haggis being piped in the traditional Scottish way. During the evening this happened twice. It was a great touch of authenticity. Great evening. Only managed two of the 3 courses.
