The Victoria Inn – BarmouthWe always eat at the Victoria Inn when we are in the area, lovely food in a nice dog friendly atmosphere
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthWhen you find a perfect place.. you go back again .. and again and again. Staff are easy to talk to and are always on hand in case you have any questions that they can answer. The atmosphere is always warm and welcoming. Great to find a pub restaurant that allows dogs in fact makes them so welcome that they have a biscuit jar The bar. Food choices is 2nd to none. Plenty of vegan options which is great for me. Staff always ask me if there’s anything they would like to admit or put on my food which I don’t get anywhere else I’ve been to. And I must say, the cost of a meal and a drink is very reasonable too. See you soon x
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthBooked this pub as my son loves Italian food and we were spending the day in Hey on Wye book shopping for his 18th. Did not disappoint, lovely food, friendly staff and great atmosphere. Would definitely book again when we return to Hey on Wye.
Three Tuns – Hay On WyeOne of the best pubs we have ever visited! Food was delicious, location was superb and the kids had the best time in the playground! Highly recommended!
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthHad a lovely time at the Victoria Inn whilst the wife and I and our 2 dogs were on holiday. I had the Anglesey Burger and my wife had the chicken & almond curry. Both were served promptly, looked amazing and tasted even better. They found us a nice table in the corner as requested because of the dogs. Overall, a delicious meal with a lovely pint of IPA. I would gladly eat here again.
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthFantastic service and fantastic food! Couldn’t fault it, if we’re ever in the area again be the first place we stop to eat!!!
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthLovely place - cozy and comfortable with decent food. Recommended.
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthReally nice meal. Cooked and presented lovely.
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthHad two nights eating here, highly recommend it. Food was fantastic and the Robinsons beer was kept very well. Advise to book as was busy!
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthFriendly, helpful staff. Lovely atmosphere, pleasant surroundings. Good selection of ciders. Smaller menu options to the last time we visited, this wasn't an issue. Unfortunately my order got mixed up, this was quickly resolved, I ordered the camembert & fig tart which was overcooked and hard - Not pleasant!! My husband really enjoyed his food and the chips were different to the norm and lovely.
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthHad lunch on a Saturday afternoon to take a short break from the bookshopping! The staff were very welcoming and looked after us. The food was great. We had the pork ragu (really tasty) and the chicken tagliatelle (also really tasty)... and washed it down with some really good beer... Will definitely return for another break from the book shopping next time we visit Hay-on-Wye
Three Tuns – Hay On WyeA pleasant meal with my parents. The menu was varied and the food we ordered was well cooked I had Lamb shank with fresh veg and the lamb wasn’t fatty and the gravy divine. Mum had the fish special which again was cooked perfectly. The pub has a lovely atmosphere and we will be back
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthVisited 28 September 2022 evening meal and 6 of us. Well we’ll we all had excellent meals. Sole fillets amazingly light. Brie tart very very good. Pie’s amazing too. Good helpings and lovely and hot. Very good service all round. Certainly recommend.
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthAs we'd been thwarted earlier in the week we booked for Thursday 22/9. Lovely place, pleasant staff, food excellent. My hubby considers himself a pie conisseur and thoroughly enjoyed the pie option. I on the other hand had the homemade curry which was excellent full of flavour with the right amount of heat and loads of chicken rounded off with a popodom and chutney.
The Victoria Inn – Barmouthbooked on line , turned up with our dog seated at a nice table. Food was good. Beer was nice. lovely spot.
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthExcellent food and value for money. Just one issue our main meal dishes did not get cleared away and consequently we ate our deserts surrounded by dirty dishes.
