Bengal Spices – WelshpoolNice food there.
Black Cock Inn – Brecon1 excellent meal last week. Tonight waited for an hour for food which was very poor and not to a good standard.
Gwystre Country Inn – Llandrindod WellsGreat food and friendly staff, lovely place.
Glan Neigr – AngleseyVisited on Sunday afternoon with our children as we had got married Saturday and didn't want to cook. Even though it was busy and we hadn't booked, they found us a table very quickly. Food was outstanding and the service was impressive. Will certainly be a regular here. Perfect play area for kids as well!
The Celtic Arms – MoldAn excellent place to eat. The food is delicious and the service first class.
Tops – LlandudnoMy parents who are pensioners visited on the 23rd April 2015, the fish that my mother was served wasn't edible, she complained 3 times where she was told they would speak to the chef, nothing was done. My mother paid the bill, she was charged full amount even though she was unable to eat her meal and there was no apology. I am absolutely disgusted on how my parents was treated, at this rate this business will not last long if they treat all paying customers this way.
The May Quay – RhylCalled in for a meal with my 3 friends. Very friendly welcome, ordered meal which came quickly. Food was good but a couple of things could have been better. Nasty tinned peas, frozen are much better, horrid iceberg lettuce. We then ordered tea and this came in thick small cups with a tea bag floating in each cup, no fresh milk but plastic pots. The food was delicious and plentiful and good value for money, but lacked a little finesse. Would go again. Toilets were clean but there was a big roll of paper to tear off to dry hands.
The Moors Inn & Restaurant – WrexhamHad an amazing couple of days on the decking with the kids, friendly staff and lovely settings.
The Celtic Arms – MoldRecently visited the pub very impressed with the quality of the food and the service was excellent. Would recommend to anyone a visit should you be in the area.
The May Quay – RhylThis resort had been closed sine the beginning of the year. Members have been ignored and are unable to book or exchange their weeks. People booked at the resort are unable to gain access.
Dyserth Falls Resort – Rhylrecently visited The Celtic Arms for sunday lunch with friends. The food was delicious, an excellent variety of veg and perfectly cooked meat, accompanied by delicious gravy. We will definately be returning as it has got to be the best in the area.
The Celtic Arms – MoldLoved the food when recently visited The Celtic Arms Moldbut. Have not seen the Dine Out menu on the website so am confused and disapointed as I like to choose what Im going to eat before I go out
The Celtic Arms – MoldBatter is crisp and tasty, chips are the best in the world! The home- made chicken curry cannot be beaten!
Caersws Fish Bar – LlanidloesGotta be the best original in Wales but without the newspaper!! ;)
Jones Fish and Chip Shops – WrexhamWe just love the Fairy Glen, it is child friendly, brilliant menu, great pool table, fine ales. it is our all time favourite pub of anywhere, we live in Nottingham.
Fairy Glen Inn – ConwyExcellent food fast delivery. Highly recommended.
New China Garden Chinese Restaurant – Colwyn BayArrived about 5pm. Place was fairly busy for food and drinkers at the bar.. We found a table and looked at the menu, not a huge choice but enough I think for most needs. But the specials board more than made up for it. We went to bar to order and were greeted by the staff. I ordered the rump and the others ordered the homemade fish cakes and a curry. Food arrived in very good time and was outstanding, large portions and piping hot. Do not be fooled that it is only a pub doing pub food, because it really was exeptionally good. We have eaten in restaurants and not received anywhere near as good as this. So look this place up when travelling. 10 out of 10 folks at the Stanley Arms .
