Y Sgwar – PorthmadogHere on holiday and our second time at this restaurant. Lovely welcoming atmosphere, great food and dog friendly. Staff very pleasant and good value. Have already booked again. Highly recommend.
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthExcellent food, service and atmosphere. In fact I think they have upped their game. Presentation beautiful too and the steak frites was truly divine.
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthFood and service were excellent, would definitely recommend
Y Sgwar – PorthmadogWas staying in Harlech googled where to eat this restaurant was rated highly. Booked last minute saturday . Place was really busy and a nice buzz. Food was excellent prices really cheap considering the portion sizes. As on a break unlikely to visit again but for anyone visiting the area or living nearby we'll worth booking a table
Y Sgwar – PorthmadogI’m lucky enough to live a 10 minute drive from this beautiful Inn, we booked in for Sunday lunch, great value, amazing food my son-in-law was really impressed, said it’s the best Sunday lunch he’s had anywhere! It’s came out surprisingly quickly considering how busy they were, lovely staff pleasant and helpful, beautiful outside space. Highly recommended.
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthSuperb family Sunday lunch. Great service and food was amazing too. Have already recommended to a friend and we will be back.
Y Sgwar – PorthmadogSuch a shame! I can appreciate when things are busy but the experience was lacking. After initially finding a member of staff to enquire about my booking, got our seat fairly quickly and I went to the bar for drinks. When I went back to order food, I stood at the bar with 2 other people with not one member of staff behind it. When someone did come near the bar they decided to speak to 'friends' on their way to serve. The food I had no complaints about and the young person serving was very polite. One thing that was 'annoying' and I can only presume they were locals, was there was a group of three men on a table close to the bar, very loud with mouths for sewers in a family environment, no staff approached them. They also let their dog on chair/shelf on the table with the owner shouting its name constantly. It promised so much but such a shame!
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthMy husband and I together with a friend had a wonderful Sunday lunch recently. The food was cooked to perfection and the portions were very generous. The service was excellent.
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthOur first visit to Y Sgwar was yesterday, for Sunday lunch We enjoyed an excellent meal, thank you! We shall definitely be returning and we shall also pass on verbal recommendations to our friends on our caravan park, near Harlech - and we shall pass on the 20 business cards we asked you for, as we left yesterday! Super food, service and price
Y Sgwar – PorthmadogExcellent good. Lovely staff. Buzzy atmosphere. Will definitely go back.
Y Sgwar – PorthmadogWhat a lovely restaurant, I really enjoyed the Pork Belly with chorizo and leek mash. The service was excellent, and friendly and would definitely return when I visit the area again.

Y Sgwar – PorthmadogLovely meal at Y Sgwar yet again. Fantastic food and service. Sorry we are always the last ones there! Ha ha x
Y Sgwar – PorthmadogMy husband and I went for an early bird meal for our wedding anniversary. The staff are charming and attentive. There is a good choice for starters and main course. We went for French onion soup and prawn cocktail to start, followed by steak and ale pie, roast vegetables and chips. Everything seems fresh and home made and portion sizes are generous. Our food was beautifully presented and extremely tasty.
Y Sgwar – PorthmadogEnjoyed our dinner, staff friendly and helpful
