Y Sgwar – PorthmadogFood was excellent my steak was cooked perfectly atmosphere was warm and friendly will definitely go again
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthOnly good thing about this place was the food! Restaurant was fairly full when we arrived with one empty table behind us. This was then occupied by what appeared to be a group of friends of the staff and their kids…. We were dining with elderly parents and teenager and this groups language was loud and appalling to the point we gave up trying to talk amongst ourselves because we couldn’t hear each other…. every other word from this group was a swear word! Their kids were uncontrollable, trying to climb over the back of our seats and screeching . Then to top it all, a member of their group was openly vaping in the restaurant! Every other diner, along with us, in the restaurant left within 20 minutes of them arriving…. The staff knew they were causing a problem but instead of doing anything about it they were laughing with the group about the noise they were making etc. Would never recommend this place to anyone and will be emailing Robinsons head office
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthHad an evening meal on Thursday to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We were greeted like old friends when we arrived despite never having been before. Very friendly, attentive staff. We thought the menu for starters and mains was fantastic. The food was amazing. If I was disappointed about anything, it would be that the dessert options were very generic, and what you find in most bog standard pubs. We didn't have dessert so I can't comment if they were the same generic quality. The choices definitely did not match the great choices of the rest of the menu. Overall we were well impressed, and a shame we live 200 miles away or we would.be back without a doubt!
Y Sgwar – PorthmadogA really lovely place to dine ,good food well presented ,stall welcoming friendly and nice atmosphere ..helpful with my special diet .our family and friends favourite place to eat too
Y Sgwar – PorthmadogWhat a beautiful place with delicious food!! The staff were friendly, the atmosphere warm, and the surroundings just perfect. We all loved our meals (family of 4 with a hard to please, fussy 10 year old and a coeliac too!) My only minor disgruntlement (and only because it would’ve been nice to enjoy more of the food here), is that there was limited choice of gluten free options of starters and no gluten free puddings on offer-such a shame as they cater very well for coeliacs in regards to safety-I felt absolutely fine after eating here and I’m a very sensitive coeliac-so they’re clearly doing a fantastic job!!
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthExcellent food, great service and cosy atmosphere. Lovely place to drink and eat.
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthFantastic evening, everything superb

The Old Courthouse – CaernarfonBeen coming here for years and never disappointed. Great food, excellent service and superb value. Our favourite place to eat in North Wales
Y Sgwar – PorthmadogVisited this restaurant, for the first time, with friends. Firstly it’s good to see Conwy with a proper Sea Food restaurant. The atmosphere was relaxed and we got a friendly welcome . We were somewhat slow in choosing our food, too busy talking, but felt no pressure from waiting staff. Both starters and main courses were excellent, although my wife’s steak had to be returned as it was over cooked, which slightly spoilt the flow of the meal. To be fair it was a member of staff, who was being observant and noticed as soon as the steak was cut that it was over cooked and had no hesitation in replacing it. Only other slight niggle was the lack of draught lager and no pint glasses! Seemed strange for a restaurant. Overall a pleasant even8ng with good food and would return again.
Telfords Bistro – ConwyHad a Sunday roast yesterday, it was absolutely delicious. Service was amazing and very helpful from the start to the end. Absolutely amazing cauliflower cheese
Y Sgwar – PorthmadogThe room was way too hot with no fresh air making it uncomfortable to stay. We did not stay for a desert because of the heat There were no labels on the sauces so unfortunately one of us took horseradish thinking it was bread sauce.
Hotel Wrexham – WrexhamGreat food, fabulous variety and lovely surroundings and atmosphere. Very friendly staff whom were very welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. We will be back!
Telfords Bistro – ConwyBwyd arbennig .Staff yn wych ddim byd yn ormod o drafferth.
Y Sgwar – PorthmadogAt last, a proper fish restaurant 200 yards from the water front. Great food, fish stew was delicious, starters were great. No room left for desert. Will be back.
