The most amazing meal we have ever had, the lamb melts in your mouth and the cheese cake was worth the calories. Service was outstanding, friendly and welcoming. We will visit again and again and again.

Y Sgwar – PorthmadogHighly recommend! Had overnight stay and ate in restaurant , meal was lovely, great atmosphere and service. Breakfast spot on with great service again. All staff from bar staff, waiters and cleaner were so friendly. Beautiful room, clean and with everything we needed! Will definitely go back!
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthAbsolutely loved our afternoon with you. The carvery was gorgeous so tasty and fresh. Our wreath making session really did top the afternoon and we came home.with a gorgeous wreath. Coming to the session to take drinks orders would have made the afternoon perfect as it was thirsty work and very warm. Thank you so much for a great time.
Hotel Wrexham – WrexhamSunday Roast here is exceptional. We booked a late table & they were very nearly out of roasts. We took the last 5 & I expected the portions to be stretched. Far from it, we all got a generous serving of meat, vegetables & gravy. Flat welsh yorkshire puds made us chuckle. Best roast in a while & appreciated after a days worth of adventures. Service was hard at a busy bar but super fast food service to the table.
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthFabulous Sunday Lunch, great choice of food & ales also dog friendly Will definitely visit again
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthWe had a Sunday roast and it really was superb. Not just fantastic quality though, the ratio of meat to veg/ potatoes etc was about 40% to 50% of the plate. Absolutely great.
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthReally enjoyed our stay here, felt very at home & love the bar lounge. Everyone is so friendly and the food was delicious highly recommend.
Hotel Wrexham – WrexhamWe visited for Sunday lunch. Food was excellent but disappointed by the service. Ignored for too long while waiting to order drinks /food, while others sat after us where dealt with first. Ordered choc cheescake, but when served just put a strawberry one down and said choc run out. What really annoyed us thou was not being given a wine menu and only when bill came found out the two bottles of wine cost £75!
Hotel Wrexham – WrexhamGreat, freshly cooked food , and delightful service in a lovely location. We visited late on a wintry Sunday night so there were few fellow diners. But the quality of the food, the friendly, professional service and the stunning historic surroundings made it an evening to remember .
The Old Courthouse – CaernarfonAnother great Sunday roast, lovely atmosphere and great staff, value for money
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthFriendly staff, good food and wine. Prices were reasonable and it was lovely to see so much fish on the menu. Will return. Only negative was the bright lighting , it created a clinical atmosphere.
Telfords Bistro – ConwyWhat a gem of a restaurant we found on our last evening in Snowdonia. I was being teased with a roast lamb dish every few minutes when it was coming out of the kitchen. Clearly very popular. I resisted as I don’t eat meat (but fish). But I have to say it looked amazing. My starter was delightful (moules) - I wanted more. Later however I was greatful the starter was not higher. My main was Thai spiced cod fillet and it was another joyous plate of food! The atmosphere in the restaurant was very inviting. I loved it, so did my 10 year old daughter. The food is not cheap by any measure, but it’s so worth it. Quality and superb flavours.
Y Sgwar – PorthmadogWe opted for the early bird menu on Friday evening as it suits us to eat early and seemed good value. We were made to feel welcome and comfortable. Being coeliac I asked what was gluten free and the waitress was fully aware of what I could choose. The pate was delicious and the gluten free bread was one of the best I have had. Chutney and tasty dressed salad also excellent. Followed with lamb which was a very good size portion, beautifully presented and cooked. I was not expecting a dessert gluten free ot her than ice cream....but the chocolate torte was okay for me and a fabulous indulgent treat. Staff very efficient even though it was quite busy. We loved the decor, especially wooden screen and light fittings..all very tasteful. Sadly we were just visiting for a week but will certainly return if we are in the area again.
Y Sgwar – PorthmadogPerfect food, perfect drinks and fabulous service as usual. We love this place, such a welcoming restaurant. Great place for the family or with friends. Great atmosphere always.
Y Sgwar – PorthmadogExcellent food and very good service but lighting is too bright and affects the atmosphere of the restaurant. Good value dining experience.
Telfords Bistro – ConwyAte in here on first night of our stay nearby . Enjoyed it so much went back again on our second night. Liked the atmosphere, menu choices, beer and drinks. Service was good and prompt despite being busy on both occasions. Food very good. Booking advisable.
