Excellent food and drink, will be back.

Four of us enjoyed a lovely evening here over an excellent meal. It was recommended to us and we are very happy to recommend it to others.

Lovely old pub, although we were seated in the newer extension for Sunday lunch. The amount of cobwebs, dead flies and spiders trapped in the light fittings above our table was quite off putting but I tried to ignore them. The service was more than acceptable to be fair and the beef was tasty along with a very good Yorkshire pudding.

Absolutely beautiful place to eat, food and staff both excellent.

Wish we had the two courses . We went for the three , all really really nice until the third course , strawberry and apple crumble. After two mouth fulls we both agreed that it was way to sweet and nothing what we expected . Very expensive lunch considering we only ate two courses

The gin menu was excellent with plenty of local options to choose from and the choice of beer was also very good. All our Sunday lunches were really tasty and it was good to have a proper vegetarian roast dinner for a change!

Friendly, efficient staff. Excellent food. Look forward to booking again when we are in north Wales next year.

FOR The food quality and flavour was great Nice atmosphere Excellent wine AGAINST Waited 20 minutes for the menu Dirty glasses which were replaced with ones that did not match Wine was just placed on the table unopened and wasn't offered to taste Staff were aware of the above but nothing was offered or taken off the bill . We will return. Hopefully this was a one off

We hadn't been back since before the pandemic so were delighted to see the new refurbished premises. The ambience has been much enhanced by the changes. We had an excellent meal on a busy Friday evening and will certainly keep going back every time we're in the area. Well trained staff giving inconspicuously good service.

Food arrived nice and hot, the Anglesey burger was very tasty absolute best, with proper chips.

Had a gorgeous three course dinner in a beautifully designed restaurant and the service provided by Rufus and Alex was exceptional!

First time eating here after being recommended by the Farmer where we were staying. Very pleasantly surprised, service was good, the food was nicely presented & tasty, the quantity was huge! Overall very satisfied, just slightly disappointed they'd run out of profiteroles, must have been a popular choice that day. Helpful staff.

Lovely food. Served hot, good service.

We were recommended here by a local farmer where we were staying, they told us it was lovely place & the food excellent if a bit expensive. They were right, though we say food is only expensive if it does not live up to the price. Here there is no problem with that, the 3 courses plus wine was, without doubt, exceptional. Thank you to the staff & chef for the beautifully prepared & tasty meals. Next time we are in Nth Wales we’ll be back ! ( No, we were not paid to write this, it truly was an exceptional experience !)

A fantastic meal last night. The food was delicious and large portions. Our server was very pleasant and efficient The restaurant is lovely with a large seating area with log burner First time dining there but will definitely book again Can thoroughly recommend
