Ate in here on first night of our stay nearby . Enjoyed it so much went back again on our second night. Liked the atmosphere, menu choices, beer and drinks. Service was good and prompt despite being busy on both occasions. Food very good. Booking advisable.

The amount of cobwebs, dead flies and spiders trapped in the light fittings above our table was quite off putting but I tried to ignore them. The service was more than acceptable to be fair and the beef was tasty along with a very good Yorkshire pudding.

After two mouth fulls we both agreed that it was way to sweet and nothing what we expected . Very expensive lunch considering we only ate two courses
Hotel Wrexham – WrexhamThe gin menu was excellent with plenty of local options to choose from and the choice of beer was also very good. All our Sunday lunches were really tasty and it was good to have a proper vegetarian roast dinner for a change!

We had an excellent meal on a busy Friday evening and will certainly keep going back every time we're in the area. Well trained staff giving inconspicuously good service.

Very pleasantly surprised, service was good, the food was nicely presented & tasty, the quantity was huge! Overall very satisfied, just slightly disappointed they'd run out of profiteroles, must have been a popular choice that day. Helpful staff.

The Victoria Inn – BarmouthWe were recommended here by a local farmer where we were staying, they told us it was lovely place & the food excellent if a bit expensive. They were right, though we say food is only expensive if it does not live up to the price. Here there is no problem with that, the 3 courses plus wine was, without doubt, exceptional. Thank you to the staff & chef for the beautifully prepared & tasty meals. Next time we are in Nth Wales we’ll be back ! ( No, we were not paid to write this, it truly was an exceptional experience !)
