We have been eating at this restaurant for many years now and we have seen it grow from quite a small restaurant to what it is now the food is always top quality as is the atmosphere and the staff are always friendly and polite , to be honest you would be hard pushed to find a fault . We love it.

Three Tuns – Hay On WyeWonderful again. Probably our third visit to Y Sgwâr and yet again it delivers 5 stars. The ambiance is great, friendly but efficient. The food is the undoubted start performer. I have tried a range of menu offers from lamb to steaks to fish and this restaurant never fails to deliver the most exquisite of flavours and textures, food in perfect balance. It is our go to place in North Wales and worth every penny.

Y Sgwar – PorthmadogVery nice spacious restaurant, with an outside eating area Although the menu mentions 'Ask for Specials' there were none. You have to place you order at the bar, and ask for the menus at the bar, this took a little working out as no one told us when we sat down. We had the 6 oz house burger which was served promptly. The town was busy and we did direct people to the pub who were looking for a pub to eat in... whilst we enjoyed the food, the service was lack lustre and we would not go out of our way to return. to the Three Tuns

Yr Hwb – Betws y CoedFantastic food and brilliant staff. This is our favorite place to eat when on holiday in North Wales. The menu is simple but has something delish for everyone. We all had food envy when looking at what each other had ordered. The fillet steak was divine and the chicken supreme was - supreme! The staff are attentive and friendly without being over bearing. We never have deserts as we prefer starters and a main BUT we saw the sticky toffee pudding arrive on an adjacent table and had to try one… BOOOOM! It was amazing and so big, three of us shared it. Can’t wait for next summer to come back again.

All the staff were very welcoming and polite. We will definitely go there again if we are lucky enough to be in that area. Highly recommend a visit, you won’t be disappointed.

Telfords Bistro – ConwyTook my Mum for afternoon tea as we had been before a couple of months the ago. We arrived at 1pm as I had pre booked. The place was deserted, we shouted hello but nothing. After a couple of minutes we walked through to reception. Then a waitress appeared. We were the only ones there so no atmosphere. Last time they had already prepared our afternoon tea so brought it out with the drinks which was great. This time the drinks were brought out then we waited about half an hour before the food came which meant that our drinks were now cold so we had to order more. The waitress was lovely but we won't be going again sadly. Don't understand why there never seems to be anyone else there.
