The food was really nice and staff friendly. The toilets could do with a deep clean, not nice and smelly. The walkway getting to the front door also is filthy dirty and smelly. First impressions et el.

Highly recommend you dine here. The staff are friendly, all food is fresh and labelled with allergens. 100% worth the cost and they have a great selection of desserts too.

Having arrived early we waited for the rest of the party to come. I booked 5 places 3 adults and 2 children 1 aged 8 and the other 10. Couldn’t fault the meal a great selection and plenty of it . The restaurant was very busy but the service was still good. When I came to pay however I was charged for 5 adults and 1 child . Firstly I booked for 5 not 6 and then they said the 10 year old was too tall . I didn’t notice any body with a tape measure but isn’t that tall , it’s a good job she wasn’t in a wheelchair! I did get my money back for the extra person after 2 days but still got charged for the 10 year old as an adult. I will be back but will be making sure before I sit down to double check my booking. Highly recommend this place! The food is really good, lots to choose from! The staff are really helpful and informative. They brought a cake out for my daughters birthday at the end of the night which was really special. Thank you for a great night!

This was our second visit to Maxis. We were staying locally back in January for my 50th Birthday and my husband booked a meal here for a surprise. We came back this weekend especially to have a meal at Maxis, as we enjoyed it so much the first time round. Once again, the food was excellent, we really enjoyed it. Unfortunately, we were seated next to a large, very rowdy, party including 7 or 8 children, who ran around, tipped rice and noodles on their heads, stamped Prawn crackers into the carpet, and hit the fish tank with chopsticks, amongst other things. This was absolutely not the fault of the restaurant, but a lovely member of staff, I think his name was Lewis, repeatedly apologised to us, and offered us a round of drinks. The party certainly ruined the atmosphere, but certainly not the food and would not dissuade us from coming again. We actually felt very sorry for the staff, having to clear up the absolute carnage the large party left all over the table and floor.

Dim Sum in York! Really glad to have found this. A good selection if Dim Sum and an extensive ala carte menu. Food was excellent. Service friendly and attentive. Highly recommended.

While staying in york we were recommended this restaurant by our hotel (impossible motel) absolutely blown away by the choice of food, friendly service, everything about the place was lovely! 10/10

The food at Panda Mami is beautiful. Everything is cooked nicely with a wide variety of options from Indian to Chinese. The only criticism I would make is there wasn't enough Pizza or garlic bread out at once so had to wait a while for anymore to be available. The selection of desserts are to die for and were actually the highlight of our visit. I find the environment friendly, welcoming and not invasive with other customers even though it's an all you can eat buffet restaurant. Unfortunately we were over charged at payment. One of our children was below the 140cm, of which I did mention, however we were still charged full price. Also there was an extra £3 added to our bill, and I still don't know where this was accumulated, unless there is a service charge here? I found the price for a family of 5 extremely high, and even more shocked that the drinks were no longer bottomless. Wish there was a fixed price for families because we would visit more often, however at the current prices we would only ever venture here maybe once a year, if that. Shame!
