Came for a meal out to celebrate my daughter's GCSE results. Great service and delicious food - portion sizes were very generous and even though we'd taken that into account and ordered less than last time, we still couldn't eat it all! Highly recommended.

We enjoyed ourselves equally as much on this visit and were very happy that everything was to the same very high standards...wonderful, friendly service from all the staff, great atmosphere with good music and excellent food quality.

Not only is the food amazing but all staff are so welcoming and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. The setting inside is lovely and the cocktail menu is fab too. Will definitely be coming back and recommending to friends/family who visit York. Thank you for been part of a really enjoyable day out with good friends.

Maxis – YorkGreat place to book for 12 people on a hen do. Easy to book, paid a £50 deposit which was then refunded on the night. Food was lovely and cocktails were good!

Impressive interior - so much to look at & provide interesting topics for talking! Toilets can do with attention - aesthetically & functionally. Couldnt face dessert, even though it looked fab! First time visit & would look forward to a return. Would definitely recommend.

We would definately come again and have already recommended this to our friends and family. The Bistro is also very pretty and romantic.

We were served quickly and the waiter was extremely attentive, checking if we needed drinks and satisfaction with the food. The food was great and had a few vegan options as well as some great burgers. Value for money was excellent, portions were large! The Swiss burger even contained raclette cheese!
