Vikram's Kishti, Camberley

as a consultant, i have been doing some traveling around uk and trying different restaurants. i could not get a decent hotel during my client trip at farnborough and have to stay in a pub hotel in front of vikrim kishti. i must say that ambience was brilliant. i asked them to provide me table in the open space of the boat rather than cabin, which was infront of a lovely lake with swans and ducks.. but what truly stunned me was the quality of food.. as a punjabi, i am very fussy about food.. i ordered chicken karahi, chicken makhni and parathy.. everything was superb.. the mangi lassi was not as good as tayyabs of whitechapel though.. trust me if you like good food and willing to travel, its worth every penny going to vikrim from london. the staff was very friendly also..

Lovely novel setting, friendly and helpful staff, and slightly different Indian cuisine. I can recommend the king prawn puri and the Hyderabadi lamb shank. Meals weren't as spicy as the menu symbols suggested, so let the staff know if you really want a kick.

Fantastic value for money, friendly, efficient & very 'french' service and a lovely Wine Bar (also belonging to Truffles) located next door where had our pre-dinner drinks and then brandy's afterwards! Fabulous all round, a definite must.......
The White Horse, Midhurst

The White Horse is a great pub in the village of Easebourne. Well-kept real ales, home-cooked food, large garden, smoker's patio and friendly staff & management make it an ideal place to meet and chat. There is no juke box and no pool table, so the noisier element are discouraged from using this great pub. They also have a great monthly quiz.

Have had numerous excellent Sunday lunches here but ventured in for a weekday meal in their restaurant and was not disappointed. Food cooked to order so a bit of a wait for delivery after ordering but you don't get the standard of food if comes preprepared. Pleasant service staff and fair value for money. Recommended
