Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaWe had a lovely meal here before going to the congress theatre to see a show. Great atmosphere and service. The starter was delicious and so was my bangers and mash, but my friend had the curry and rice, which she said was quite nice, but she felt the rice was a quite undercooked. We will definitely be back again though
The Good Grub – EastbourneAs usual superb meal, never disappointed with Dave and his teams cooking. Lovely to see Millie back again. Just love the Indian kissed potatoes! Thank you
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaFresh food, lively menu, great drinks, cosy seating, friendly and helpful staff. A great lunch in the sun (two children, two adults), thanks The Globe. See you again soon
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeWe've eaten at the Globe two or three times over the last few years after walking the dogs at Camber. They welcome dogs and the restaurant is a very quirky place to dine. However on this occasion I didn't enjoy myself as much as I have done before. The burger and chips that my husband ordered was just that burger and chips and my curry and rice was just curry and rice. There was nothing wrong with it but it just lacked imagination and a few acroutements. A bit of salad or slaw with the burger and a poppadom and chutney or raitha with the curry would have made all the difference. It's a shame! It just didn't feel as special as it used to be. Somehow the staff appeared to be just going through the motions and I missed the warm welcome that we have experienced there before.
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeExcellent food and wine! We shared five plates between two ( didn’t need the potatoes as plates were very generous) fresh seafood . I recommend the cod loin and scallops delicious
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaWhat a fun place to meet friends for a casual lunch - quirky and interesting. Very good food and excellent service - thank you.
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeWe are regulars at this wonderful pub. The service is always exceptional, friendly, warm and helpful. The ambience here is next level, just a gorgeous little pub. The food is usually very good, although recently it's been disappointing to see the wood fired pizzas disappear, and less variety than we're used to on the menu. Thursday evening we had an early dinner, I had the rump steak, ordered rare but unfortunately was very overcooked. Chips were brilliant as were the veg. For the children it was disappointing that the children's menu has now also disappeared. The only options were sausages, burger or fish fingers. Children chose sausages but the cook discovered there were none so they decided on burgers and fish fingers. Burgers were good, fish fingers dreadfully overcooked to the point that they were rock hard. We have loved this pub for years - we recommend it to all our guests but do hope this experience isn't a regular occurrence.
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeWe had a lovely lunch on Saturday. Food and staff were wonderful as always! ❤️
The Good Grub – EastbourneLovely atmosphere inside and out. Friendly service and tasty food.
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeAlways lovely food, well presented and really friendly staff.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaWhat a beautiful pub! Came for dinner for my Husband’s Birthday, 2 teens and a dog. Very welcoming and friendly staff, great menu and beautiful eclectic interior. We really enjoyed it. Food was of a good standard and not expensive. We’ll come back again when next in the area.
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeTasty burger, excellent chips - but not quite enough room on the plate!
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeWe always have fabulous meals here but last weekend was the best yet! The oysters were of superb quality. We shared lots of dishes as there were four of us and we all had our favorites. For me ( and I am not a huge meat eater normally) the rib eye kebabs and the surf and turf fillet were the standouts in a very high field. In fact the kebabs were the tastiest thing I have eaten in years! This is a great restaurant run by a couple with a true passion for food.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaFood was excellent as usual. Lovely roast chicken with well cooked vegetables, very nice roast potatoes and nice gravy. Some stuffing would have been nice, but not a complaint!!! The fish was also excellent as usual, as was the lemon cake we shared for desert. All washed down with Peroni and an excellent Italian red. Another very enjoyable experience, one of many. Lovely pub. Very dog friendly as well. Highly recommended
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeExcellent as always. Some new menu additions. Good atmosphere, great service. Never disappoints.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaWe just loved our evening at the Globe. Great atmosphere, great staff, and GREAT food - we could literally have chosen anything from the menu; it all looked SO good. And ours WAS good - great, in fact: ribeye for me and seabass for my companion. If we lived a little closer I'd be a once-a-week regular! Thank you, Globe!
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeWe've been enjoying "Into the Blue" since 2011. Great to see that the restaurant keeps evolving to offer great new dishes and improve what is already a great environment. We took my cousin and his wife for lunch and they really loved the meal from start to finish
