Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaWhat a beautiful pub! Came for dinner for my Husband’s Birthday, 2 teens and a dog. Very welcoming and friendly staff, great menu and beautiful eclectic interior. We really enjoyed it. Food was of a good standard and not expensive. We’ll come back again when next in the area.
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeTasty burger, excellent chips - but not quite enough room on the plate!
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeWe always have fabulous meals here but last weekend was the best yet! The oysters were of superb quality. We shared lots of dishes as there were four of us and we all had our favorites. For me ( and I am not a huge meat eater normally) the rib eye kebabs and the surf and turf fillet were the standouts in a very high field. In fact the kebabs were the tastiest thing I have eaten in years! This is a great restaurant run by a couple with a true passion for food.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaFood was excellent as usual. Lovely roast chicken with well cooked vegetables, very nice roast potatoes and nice gravy. Some stuffing would have been nice, but not a complaint!!! The fish was also excellent as usual, as was the lemon cake we shared for desert. All washed down with Peroni and an excellent Italian red. Another very enjoyable experience, one of many. Lovely pub. Very dog friendly as well. Highly recommended
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeExcellent as always. Some new menu additions. Good atmosphere, great service. Never disappoints.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaWe just loved our evening at the Globe. Great atmosphere, great staff, and GREAT food - we could literally have chosen anything from the menu; it all looked SO good. And ours WAS good - great, in fact: ribeye for me and seabass for my companion. If we lived a little closer I'd be a once-a-week regular! Thank you, Globe!
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeWe've been enjoying "Into the Blue" since 2011. Great to see that the restaurant keeps evolving to offer great new dishes and improve what is already a great environment. We took my cousin and his wife for lunch and they really loved the meal from start to finish
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaReally excellent, low key restaurant. A really good range of local sourced food excellently cooked. All reasonably priced with a good range of beers, wines and cocktails on offer. The service was good and attentive.
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeJust a great place for great food. Relaxed, no fuss etc.
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeLovely venue but poor food. We came over from Brighton due to the excellent reviews, but this place would struggle to compete anywhere else. Roast dinner was unflavoured, and the turkey was almost inedible (so hard it was embarrassing). Baked Camembert was tasty but salad didn’t match the flavours, and the ‘smoked salmon’ was poor. Coffee was like warm. Lovely people but just giving honest review from customers used to high end vegan cafes.
The Good Grub – EastbourneFantastic food as usual by the amazing Chloe, had great fun at the quiz night, food was second to none. The atmosphere was like being round a friends house for dinner. Wonderful!!
The Good Grub – EastbourneWhat a fabulous place! Friendly staff, great food, and good atmosphere. The menu is pretty varied so stuff to suit all tastes - from a fry-up or toastie to felafel bowl or salad. Would definitely recommend, in fact I already have!!
The Good Grub – EastbourneDelicious food, great menu with loads of gluten free options! Friendly staff, cosy relaxed atmosphere. We all left full and happy and will definitely visit again!
The Good Grub – EastbourneLovely venue, friendly staff, good food. Portions could be larger for the price, but may be us adjusting to our high inflation world, and how far your money goes!
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeOur first visit in a number of months was on Easter Sunday. It was good to see the restaurant almost full and it had a great Bistro type atmosphere. It's great to have an exclusively vegan establishment nearby and important to support it. We both enjoyed the food and drinks. The Easter Cheezecake was remarkably good - so much so that someone on a neighbouring table had a second portion. We're looking forward to returning to try the nut roast, since we have both lobbied for one to be added to the menu.
The Good Grub – EastbourneDelicious food. Loved the short sharing menu. Would have happily had more dishes if we had room. Loved the tempura prawns. Hispi cabbage exceptional. Hake cooked perfectly. Beef cheeks tender and melting. Service delightful and attentive. Excellent value for money. Great atmosphere.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaWhat a pleasure- a real restaurant with interesting and well cooked food. Covid sadly interrupted our dining experience here and it has been our loss. Chef added, at my request, a little chilli to my moules - fabulous and my partner found the capers and samphire really enhanced her hake. This is a proper restaurant- you must try it.
