I went with my sister in law Sandra on Tuesday and found it was steak night so we opted for that. I'm so glad we did as it was absolutely amazing, served by really lovely and polite staff. I would definitely recommend going here and can't wait to go again soon.

Lovely evening meal. Service was attentive but unobtrusive. Good locally sourced food all of which was delicious. Would recommend and will definitely be back next time we are in Rye. Also loved the decor.

This was our second visit. This time with our sons. They were blown away by the food. They had steaks that were cooked to perfection. My husband had the fish. Which again was beautifully presented and tasted just as good as it looked. Service was great. Friendly and super efficient.

A group of 10 friends who haven't seen each other for years came together for dinner at the Globe yesterday. It was wonderful! Lovely staff, great place in a lovely location. We sat outside which was really special, but inside looked very cool too. Thanks guys!

A very quirky looking place, very different, but don't let that put you off . The food and variety of drinks was amazing. The service we had from the two lads who served us was exemplary. We live a couple of hundred miles from here so possibly the one and only visit. But would definitely come back if in the area again.

We had a great meal as usual, the monkfish and paella on the specials menu were delicious.

Consistently fantastic, the fish and seafood is always cooked to perfection. Staff are friendly and helpful, and smiley, which counts for a lot in my book. Cannot fault it.

We have had three meals over the last week . We were very happy with the atmosphere and pleasant appearance of the place . The staff were very pleasant , welcoming and attentive , Barney our Glen of Imaal terrier being made especially welcome .l The meals were all well presented and very good, with prompt service. We will be very happy to go back there next time we are on holiday in the area , and recommend that you do likewise .

Lovely lunch sitting outside in the pavilion. Didn’t feel rushed… enjoyed our drinks while waiting for food. Disappointed they had run out of crab, but the sea bass was nice too Food was cooked and presented beautifully Friendly waitress service Doggie enjoyed her dinner too! See you again soon.

Excellent food and great service

Had a couple of meals and the food was very good on both occasions . The staff were efficient , friendly and accommodating . The Globe was well appointed and very clean and tidy . I would heartily recommend you visit and try it yourselves .

Surprising funky style and innovative dishes to suit all appetites and pockets. We commend the unusual small plates and delicious choice of wines by the glass..the Cote du Rhone and the Rose especially nice. Great service, efficient, friendly, local! Congratulations…we’ll be back!

Had a lovely bite to eat sat outside in the sunshine, opted for the squid, tempura prawns and the chicken dish, all were great! Nice bottle of rosè wine to wash it down with. Very pleasant indeed.

We’ve been going here since they opened and never ever had an experience other than superb. Food, service and ambience second to none. We always choose from the specials board and are never disappointed whether it be lobster, skate, sea bass, monkfish, etc. The Indian kissed potatoes are a treat to behold and we always ask for an extra portion to take home. Well done to Jacquie, Dave & the team.

Ancient Grains never disappoints. My friend and I had the pre-order menu, everything was top quality and freshly made. Service is always attentive and friendly. My favourite restaurant in Eastbourne.

Pub was extremely busy on arrival, no one acknowledged us for 10 minutes and we waited standing at the bar for a member of the staff to make eye contact but we kept on being ignored and customers arriving after us waving their empty glass were being served! We eventually were shown to our table, we had the Greek menu. The starter was nice, we waited for the main course for a very long time, the haddock was ok and the chicken was very nice. We didn’t like the dessert, almond and lemon cake with ice cream. it was terrible, we only had the vanilla ice cream. Very disappointed with whole experience. Won’t be coming back.

Had a lovely birthday at Into the Blue - as always the food was amazing - oyster tempura, lobster Thermidor and Eton Mess. The service is so good and the atmosphere was busy in a friendly way. Love this place!
