We had a brilliant steak meal. Well cooked . Lovely bottle of wine . Staff were great.

Visited Saturday evening. Very busy and great atmosphere. Despite a full restaurant service was excellent and food was wonderful. Excellent selection to choose from and beer and wine also very good. Lovely and popular restaurant. Highly recommend and make sure you book in advance!

Spent a lovely couple of hours at The Globe for Father’s Day with my wife, son and his partner, very friendly and efficient service whether at the bar for drinks or at our table for late lunch. Will be back again soon.

Lovely friendly staff and plenty of them. Atmosphere was relaxed, no one was rushing around and we certainly did feel rushed. We had plenty of time between courses too. We had our dog with us, she enjoyed the doggy menu. Food was very tasty, definitely great value. Thank you all for your service.

Superb as always! The atmosphere in this old pub with all its interesting decor always gets you smiling, and what with the great food, most of which is locally sauced, with very good service, attentive and friendly, its the place to go. I'm happy to drive over an hour to get to one of the best pub restaurants on the South Coast.

Had a lovely meal of rib sharing platter Saturday 14th June. Service was quick and staff were happy. Surroundings a bit quirky but really added to the occasion. Will return next time we are in the area

The best restaurant in Meads. One of the top three in Eastbourne! Service was spot-on, nice and knowledgeable, and very friendly, which made a big difference to the whole experience. Definitely going back again soon!

Great food and service. Music after was great to o. It was a pity about the weather which obviously put off of a lot of people from venturing out.

Food and service were excellent, the staff are very friendly. No complaint about the food except that the portion was quite small, I had the Monk fish, but otherwise everything was great.

Been regular customers over many years and the quality and personal service are constants which keeps us returning. Difficult to image a better local fish and seafood restaurant. Maybe getting just a little expensive in recent times but for such quality acceptable. Thoroughly recommended.

Had a wonderful visit last Saturday (7/6). Great atmosphere complimented by a fun & quirky interior. . The service was superb and all done with smiling faces. The food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend and we’ll definitely be back when we return to Rye.

An excellent Sunday Lunch. Outstanding value. Welcoming and friendly staff. Will definitely. Not the first time I've eaten at the Denbigh, and I've yet to be disappointed.
