Me and my daughter both had the steak. It was cooked perfectly and delicious. All the sides were very tasty and we also had onion rings and calamari which were both great as well. Definitely recommend :)

Pissarro’s – HastingsFriendly welcoming service, great food and wine, nice timely service. Affordably priced.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaWe booked for Sunday roast and had the sausage, the day special (panada) and the porchetta. Everything was delicious, well seasoned and very tasty. The pork meat was really tender. The vegetables and potatoes were also super tasty. We had some Vermentino wine with the meal and it was extremely refreshing. Carla was a friendly and thoughtful host. I would definitely recommend Ancient Grain for a meal.
Ancient Grains – EastbourneWe had a great meal at the Globe on Monday June 17th. Very friendly greeting by an excellent staff. Menu was great, could have ordered it all. We had the sea bream and the rump steak and both dishes were excellent. The fish was the catch of the day, the steak from a farm whose provenance was clear. Local producers , wonderful food, very well cooked. We were in Rye for a short break, this was a great way to start it. Would definitely return and would recommend the restaurant to anyone. Incidentally the red wine was very good and reasonably priced too
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeI have been to Tge globe many times and it is always consistently excellent. My latest visit didn’t disappoint, excellent food and service once again.
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeThe service, food and atmosphere is all great . I love this place and would reccomend to anyone.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaFabulous food, we had the seafood sharing platter that came with some chicken & pork belly - all delicious. Finished with Eton mess & the tiramisu - again both lovely. Will definitely be back :-)
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaFantastic atmosphere, really friendly and attentive staff. Food was great, but a real shame that at the moment (6/24) they have to rely on outside assistance with this as they don't yet have a resident chef. I'm sure that will change soon. It is a real gem of a place, and another example of the tucked-away, cultural and culinary beauties that this unassuming town has to offer. Long may it last and thrive - and I have decided that I will be returning regularly. Thank you for creating such a fabulous place.
Barnaby’s Lounge – HastingsVisited for a Sunday carvery . A lovely meal with good size portions and variety. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and efficient and we look forward to attending again soon.
Pissarro’s – HastingsWe dined on Saturday 15th June - booking for three people 2 of whom are vegetarian. We ordered the grilled aubergine, the hash of asparagus, and the heritage tomato salad with burrata and avocado, and a variety of sides. The portion size was reasonable and the dishes well cooked. We found the food to be interesting and the menu well thought through and carefully selected. The service was outstanding, very friendly and accommodating. (The only downside was the heritage tomato salad which was served fridge cold - tomatoes should never be stored in the fridge, they loose all flavour and they may as well have been any type of tomato- incidentally, as an Italian, burrata should also be served just coming to room temp and not direct from the fridge. Small points that could easily be corrected. ) On the whole a lovely place and a lovely evening.

Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaNicely laid out interiors and great character. Staff could have been a bit more attentive but otherwise, they were friendly and approachable. Food was excellent and did not have to wait too long. Would certainly return in future.
