Outstanding little restaurant and take-away. Food is absolutely brilliant and is the best in Newport. I have been a customer for 15 years and would always go there rather than anywhere else in Newport. The Honour Garden has evolved from a basic takeaway into a really plush and beautiful experience with excellent prices too. If you have not tried it, get there quick. This is NOT the boss but a customer without any prompting either.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYBODY. WE WAITED 35 MINUTES FOR OUR MEAL AND IT WAS NOT WORTH WAITING FOR. THERE WAS ABOUT 6 CHIPS ON THE PLATE, THE MIXED LEAVES LOOKED AS IF THEY HAD BEEN THROWN ON THE PLATE. MY HUSBAND SENT THE CORN ON THE COB BACK BECAUSE IT COULD HAVE BOUNCED OFF THE FLOUR. THEY HAD THE NERVE TO PUT IT ANOTHER DISH AND SEND IT BACK,AS A FRESH ONE.TEETHMARKS STILL IN PLACE.

Stephen Terry's eclectic menu combines British and European cooking, using the best of local ingredients. The Hardwick has established a first-class reputation in a remarkably short time.

The Hardwick – Abergavenny

Short menu, great and varied food, friendly, welcoming staff, terrific atmosphere, good wines and beers: along with The Hardwick at Abergavenny it's the best for miles around.

simply stunning - evening meal commenced with stuffed tomato, baked with herbs and spices, intense rich flavour yet remarkably light - ravioli filled with crab & lime puree simple yet sumptuous - main course "the legendary" beef wellington - Welsh black fillet steak smothered with pate de fois grais wrapped in parma ham & finally enveloped in the lightest egg washed shortcrust pastry - words fail me - this is the finest cuisine I have tasted - the steak simply melted - the pastry was infused with aromas of steak and it's wrappers - moist on the inside yet crispy and golden on the outside - baked to perfection resulting in a medium to rare cooked steak - accompanied by roast fennal, onions, dijon potatoes & julien of roasted veg - the visual impact of garnished dish was soon eclipsed by the richness, intensity and texture of tastes - desert arrived as a mixture of freshly made sorbets - summer fruits, kiwi & mandarin - topped with crystalised fruit and chocolate netting - these little stunners were light, refreshing with an essential concentrated fruit flaovour - all in all 3 courses of sheer luxury - I cannot fault the food, service, welcome or surroundings - a 3 course evening meals @ £29.95 dispels the preconception that eating @ the Coed - Y - Mwster is expensive - food of this quality is worth more than the table price -yes bar prices are expensive - a large G&T costs £6.95 - a pint of lager £3.00 -house wines commence @ £14.95 - exercise restraint @ the bar and you can afford to eat here more often - whats wrong with a nightcap in the comfort of home? - forget the image that this hotel is populated by the gin & jag brigade - I wore jeans & casual shirt -the Edwardian surroundings with log fires & high backed chairs add to the experience -the "Old Pictonians Perambulations Society" is dedicated to the "persuit of fine cuisine" @ the Coed-Y-Mwster we found it -go there & enjoy - you will not be disappointed - highly recommended

this is a restaurant not to be missed.it serves the best of local ingredients served with a passion for quality and flavour. It only opens for dinner on fridays and saturdays, which gives the owner plenty of time to hunt and fish!Llansteffan is blessed to have such a character as Bill the owner who truly cares for food as it should be prepared.

Having been in the area for many years now, word of mouth led me back to the glen. with the understanding that there was a new rejuvenated catering team in place, my wife and i dined. with canopes on arrival, pleasant music, and a menu to suit every taste, a wide selection of choice with its many specials. the food was fantastically presented and tasted divine, my wife ate the chicken ballotine and i a plain old boring steak, the flavours were magnificent. well done to the new chef, we return regularly now as do many of our friends, by far the nicest eatery within pembrokeshire

having eaten at the foresters oaks over a period of years, i must say unfortunately, it has diminished in its usually high standards over the past 6 or so months. less friendly, less consistent with it s standards my family and myself will no longer be dining within this establishment

Nawab was on ITV wales on the some like it hot program, thought i would take my husband and children there. It was busy when we went there, will go again as the food was very nice. I would definitely recommend them to people i know. 9/10. is my rating.

Nawab Tandoori Restaurant – Swansea
Old Pictonians Perambulations Society

Disappointing experience - smartly dressed friendly staff @ one of Bridgend premier Indian restaurants - regrettably the food failed to match the surroundings & service - Chicken Passanda was weak, lacking depth & flavour - Tandoori Supreme manifested in 2 pieces of chicken tikka, 1 piece of lamb tikka & 2 average size king prawns all lacked flavour and the essential tandori / barbacue taste @ £14.00 this dish was not value for money - all 7 main dishes ordered were small in portion and lacking definition, taste and depth of flavour - regrettably won't be returning or recomending

Recently dined at this pub/restaurant for the'early bird' menu as part of a group of 15. The staff were excellent and accommodating to every ones specific needs, the atmosphere was perfect and the food was possibly the best that I had ever experienced.

Merola's is the best Italian Restaurant in Cardiff. It's a family run restaurant. Staff are friendly and polite. Food is fab, recommend the Italian Pepper Sausage in Napolitana Sauce with Garlic Bread to Start. Main, a nice calzone with spinich, ham and mushroom, mmmmm it's lush and for afters, it's got to be the cheesecake.

Went on the recommendation of a work colleague and it more than exceeded my very high expectations . I had the Cawl which was absolutely delicious - The steaks looked exceptional. Very good range of wines including some good pudding wines to go with your dessert Staff were really attentive - Quite rightly full on what was a cold windy and quiet night
