The Abercrave is one of our favorite places to eat out. It ticks all the boxes for us and we use any excuse to go there. We have not tried the Sunday lunch there (yet!)but the evening meals are wonderful, plenty of choice and the desserts.....

Abercrave Inn – Swansea

we decided to try this pub as we have been going to the other pub in the village and were disappointed with the food. we had a burger which was obviously not home made as the menu stated the service wasn't to bad but there seemed to be a lot of play between the staff, the customer was being neglected. we wont visit again so disappointed.

Butchers Arms – Carmarthen

The King Hotel is a very friendly and warm place to go. It has a separate restaurant and bar area. The people and staff are very welcoming and friendly, also the staff are very polite and eager to help. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal here and it is certainly a must-go for anyone.

What a wonderful country pub. Have visited many times and always received a warm and friendly welcome. Some of the regulars are a bit dubious ie Dave Cardiff, Eifion, Will Bach, Lawrence, Andy Noble. John Pigeons You must ask chiefy the chef to show his tattoos, very interesting!! He loves being asked. Peters piercing is fascinating too. Sam the landlady is extremely friendly and has a very glamorous sister,Sara. Shona(snake hips) and Helen have very short hair!!!

Nags Head Inn – Newcastle Emlyn

Chez Giovanni is undoubtedly THE BEST for miles around. They have been voted the favourite restaurant of the Newport, Gwent area for THREE YEARS ON THE TROT. Absolutely delicious food, friendly efficient service and delightful surroundings. I urge anyone who appreciates the very best food to dine there. "ITS MY FAVOURITE RESTAURANT BY FAR "

A group of 12 of us went for a meal and every single one of us were disappointed in the food especially. It was totally unacceptable!

We found the ladies at the Greenfield very helpful - we are from out of town and working on the Trostre site and staying at a local B&B that they recommended. The food was excellent and very inexpensive. Keep up the good work Girls.

Had Sunday Lunch, 4 adults 1 child. decided to have all they did on a Sunday which was Sunday Lunch. We did not enjoy our meals at all, bland. We left it. Very Poor show. Felt that the owner was too afraid to be Spanish and promote the Spanish side, I know that Spanish food is underrated but is fantastic and is well ahead in the foodie world, so in a word it was CxxP and it cost over £80.00. The environment is dated to say the least. SO, I would suggest investing some money in the decor, and becoming Spanish and glorifying in the food that proper Spain has to offer!!!!!!!!!!!!

Curros Restaurant – Newport

its nice but really its about time you changed the veg with your sunday roasts soggy cabbage and smelly peas every time is getting boring.

We thoroughly enjoyed lunch at Morfa Parc, Swansea on 28th September 2007. The speed and service was excellent, thanks largely to the very professional waitress, Gemma

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, food was hot and tasty...the manager has a very professional attitude towards his guests.

Personal service, excellent choice of wines and beers / lagers, wide ranging menu and cooked to your request. We have been going to the Mango for over 10 years and it has never failed to be anything but superb. Everything a good restaurant should be. And if you want something else, just ask and the friendly staff will do their best to get it for you. Run by sincere people who really do care. Take your friends there with confidence!

I had a bog standard take-away meal from here recently. It was not pleasant - reminiscent of 30 years ago, when vats of watery hot/ medium/ or mild "curry sauce" were sloshed on to chunks of meat. The onion bhajis were horribly stale, the shish kebab rubbery and tasteless. Balti Empire may have upgraded its interior and service, but the food should be king. No attention to detail, sloppy bland and boring food - if people go back for more it simply keeps standards low. I would recommend Spice Quarter or Punitha's Southern Indian restaurant a few yards up Albany Road - more expensive but good, home-cooked quality food made with at least some care.

Balti Empire Restaurant – Cardiff

I have several times visited this establishment with family and friends and all have been suitably impressed to want to eat there again! Coming from as 'far away' as Buckinghamshire I always make a point of dropping in for a pint of their well kept Real Ale during my visits.
